The moment his lips touched hers, she went rigid. She pushed him away and slapped him, her chest heaving as she breathed heavily.

"How dare you?" She hissed.

"You want this as much as I want it." He said huskily. "Quit denying it, Gwendolyn. You'll probably regret this later, and so will I, but at this moment, all I want is you."

He gripped her jaw firmly and whispered, gazing deeply into his eyes.

Gwendolyn felt her sense of reasoning evaporate. She could feel herself falling under his hypnotic gaze, like she was in a trance.

She stared at him silently, noticing how his eyes swirled with passion, so dark it took her breath away. This was the man she hated, the man she swore to kill someday.
