"From now on, you must be by my side. Every. Single. Day." I raised my eyebrow at him before scoffing in disbelief. "You.. you can't be serious" I shook my head at him. "I'm fucking serious, Pumpkin" •°• Eva was fired Only to be rehired because she held something very important and dear to the almighty Jordan Cashmere. No, it wasn't his heart. It was his cock. Yes, his cock. She had a new duty - a new contract. She was going to stay by his side because that was the only way they could stay normal. It was a contract of no feelings until everything was settled. After all, they were enemies but how possible could this be?

He didn't even let me close the door behind me as he dropped the bombshell on me. Regardless, I closed the door properly.
"Good day, Sir" I fixed my medicated glasses which were now bent due to the heart wrenching and strength draining race I had to take just to meet the slated time for my interview.
He didn't even spare me a glance as he typed away on his computer.
"Sir? I'm -"
"Didn't you hear me? I said I can not -" The words seemed to get stuck when our eyes met. I knew this man from somewhere but I couldn't place my hands on where I had seen him.
We went quiet just staring at each other. The way his eyes roamed around my body made me feel nervous. He dragged his eyes from my face down to my breast and then to my leg before taking it back to my breast. Maybe his eyes couldn't move due to an illness, I didn't know but then, his eyes were now glued to my chest.
No doubt, this man was gorgeous. Though he was seated and wore this permanent scowl on his face but that didn't take away his handsome features at all. His emerald green eyes were one of the most mesmerizing feature about him. Then, his full lower lips looked so good that I had already started to imagine things it could do.
He cleared his throat before speaking up. "Like I was saying, I -"
"I heard you the first time. However, I chose not to take it seriously because that's just unfair" Snapping out of my daydream, I decided to attend to the matter on ground.
Who did this hot as hell, young, arrogant, gorgeous man think he was to throw me out on my first interview without even listening to me?
More like 4th interview with this company. Its like he had a personal issue with me because he always called it off before we even get the chance to meet.
I wasn't letting him off the hook this time where I had the opportunity to see him physically.
He casted an amused expression at me, leaning back on his chair. "You now call the shots in my office? My own company, Eva?"
He addressed me like he knew me from Adams. In otherwords, like he knew me from somewhere.
"No, I don't. However, I think I deserve to be heard and attended to just like everyone else." I walked up to him, placing my CVs (Curriculum Vitae) on the table for him.
I wouldn't let him write me off without checking out my potentials.
"You definitely are calling the shots" He scoffed, pushing down my files from the table. The papers scattered everywhere when they landed on the ground.
That was where the last string cut, guys.
This was unbelievable!
"Excuse you? That was rude" I frowned at him, eyeing him in pure disgust.
I didn't care who he was at this point. I could literally kill him.
He stood up, showing off his full bloody height. If he thought that would intimidate me then he had to do a re-think. I wouldn't let this slide just because he was drop dead gorgeous.
I watched as he walked round the table until he got to me. A normal person would cower at that point where he was so close to them, glaring daggers at them but I was not normal
Blinded with rage, I matched his glare. I didn't care if he was older or taller than me but i was ready for him.
Besides, I knew I wouldn't be getting this job anyway.
"Hmm!" He nodded. "You want to file for the position of my PA but yet you stand there bashing your potential boss?"
I laughed, shaking my head. "Since when did standing up for yourself become bashing? Is that the word these days children use to describe it?" I raised my eyebrow at him.
He nodded slowly as he moved closer, leaving very little space in-between us. "Eva Dolce. I refuse to accept you in my company for any position at all. Be it the barest position of a cleaner." His minty breath fanned my face as he spoke.
"You know what I think?" I started, crouching down to pick my papers which were littered on the ground
"No. I should tell you what I think" He interjected, staring down at me as I looked up to him. "I think you're just some girl who has had it too easy in life that you think that you should get anything, whenever you want"
I gasped, placing my hand on my chest in shock.
He did not just say that to me.
He didn't even know me that well. I wouldn't be here trying to prove myself to him if I had everything easy.
I said nothing to him until I picked up all my documents. When I stood up, I began to hit him with the file. He kept protesting but I wasn't listening. I had to let out my anger.
"I know I'll not be getting this damn job anymore. However, you're not any different from what you just described me as" I eyed him up and down. His hair was now scattered from my little beating.
"You -"
"Shhh!" I raised my file at him, threatening to hit him again. He raised his hand in an attempt to block it. "YOU..." I poked his chest. "...are just a rich spoiled kid who I'm sure didn't work for shit but is just living on what daddy left for him."
"Huh?" His eyes widened as he glared at me. "That's what you think?"
"Pfft. That's what i know." I tsked, eyeing him up and down in disgust.
"You think I had it easy? It's way more easy being a lady than being a man" He yelled.
"Oh please" I rolled my eyes. "Men like you barely do anything but feed off your parent's remnant. Doesn't that scream 'easy'? " Flipping my hair over my shoulder intentionally, I stomped out of the office.
The minute I came out, everybody's eyes were on me. I glared at them but they wouldn't look away.
"What? If you've not seen a person who has been denied interview for no damn reason then feel free to stare and probably take pictures that'd last longer!" I yelled.
This seemed to make them retreat back to their various work. Stupid office.
On getting outside, I noticed that it was raining cat and dog. I couldn't go under that rain. Tears pricked the corner of my eyes when I finally realized that I was denied again.
Maybe if I go under the rain, no one would see me cry. I thought to myself.
"Today is Mishap Day. I heard it wasn't a good day to get angry" Two girls who stood by my side, discussed loudly drawing my attention.
"That's just a myth" The other girl said, disbelief etched in her voice
"I thought so too until -"
Wait!
I brought out my phone, opening my Calendar. Today was MISHAP day.
"Make sure you avoid any form of conflict or situation that'd make you say anything negative or else..." I remembered my grandmother's word to me this early morning.
Oh no!
No, no, no.
"I should go back to say sorry" I turned back but stopped on track.
He deserved whatever. How dare he?
What was the worst that could happen anyway?
That was what I thought until IT happened. It felt like a movie but it was real.
Too damn real.
Fuck. My. Life
"Let me go!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as I tried to get out of the grip of the person who thought it was a good idea to ambush me in the AFTERNOON.I dragged my feet on the ground, twisting my body in his arm. I knew it was a man because his masculine woody scent mixed with a strong lemon smell made its way into my nostrils. Wait ... I knew that smell."Jesus Christ" The familiar voice spoke when he had successfully thrown me inside the car.I raised my head up slowly, struggling to move away the strands of hair which clouded my vision. "Jordan Cashmere" I growled. He removed his cap, tossing it on the driver seat which was empty. "Look, we have to -""I thought you were out of the country?" I raised my eyebrow at him. "Ahh my body hurts. You pull like a man""Because I am man?" He asked, unsure of his answer.I gagged, shaking my head. "Not with that vagina."He hurriedly placed his hand on my mouth. "Don't. Don't say it out loud""Mgnnkfd" My words came out incoherent. He
"We're fling buddies?!" I screamed alongside his family and my mother He kicked my leg under the table. I understood the signal but I wasn't going to agree to that nonsense. Why would I agree to being his fling buddy. Then how do you plan to stay normal, Eva Dolce? A taunting voice which sounded like Jordan's, sang in my headUrgh! Now he was in my head"Now that i remember, I thought you said JORDAN denied you a job interview yesterday?" My mother asked, raising her eyebrow at me."Yeah, He did. I wonder why he would do that to his fling buddy?" I smiled halfly at him, averting all their attention to him. I wasn't going to let anyone put me under the knifeHe shrugged. "I didn't want my personal life mixing with business. You know me, mother" He smiled casually at his mother. She smiled brightly, nodding her head"My boy likes to keep his private life away from his work life. This is actually an awesome news." Isabelle smiled at us. "From fling to -""Nothing" I completed. "Flings

I said to Eva, holding her hand firmly. She adjusted her glasses on her face, a frown etched on her face. What was she mad at?I was the victim!"Take what back?" She spat, pulling her hands away from my grip. She succeeded because I let her. She didn't have that energy.I looked around to ensure that no one was coming. I'd be damned if anyone knew what I was holding with me. Hell nah.Not even my favourite mother. When I was sure that no one was close by, I whispered. "The vee"She stared at me blankly, not uttering any word. I groaned in frustration, rubbing my hands aggressively on my face. "You don't understand?"She shook her head. "Not at all. What's vee? "Ahhhhh! What the freaking flick is this?" I screamed. My mother was the first to bolt inside my room, followed by my grandmother. They both stopped abruptly when their eyes collided with IT."What... What happened? What.. what's that?" My mother's finger trembled as she raised her finger up."I don't fucking know mum. Please get it away from me" I cried, pushing it away. It wouldn't leave. It was stuck. Oh goodness! Oh my goodness!I was gonna puke. This can't be happening to me."I warned you, Cara Mia" My grandmother said, folding her arms as she stared down at me. "Now's not the time for that mama. This is a real ... Oh God! What are we going to do about this, mama?" My mother asked, casting a pitiful and disbelieving look at me I was dumbfounded. A huge bile rose up in my throat, restricting me from talking. My vision began to blur from the tears that were building in my eyes. "I don't know. I've never been in such situation." Granny said, folding her arms. The tears stre
