Chapter Nineteen

EMMA'S POV

"How have you been Emma?" My mother asked, while taking me into the house with my father.

"I've been fine Mom. Doing well," I answered her question. My eyes navigated from her side to my father's point.

I noticed how happy they were today. Of course the news of my arrival got them thrilled, so they're excited to see me after all these days.

"Come take a seat with me. Give that bag to your mother my dear," My father suggested, taking hold of my bag.

I didn't want him bothering himself about it, but he insisted. Taking hold of my bag and giving it to my mother. She happily took it from him. Saying she has prepared my favorite meal after learning of my coming.

"I felt it'll be nice to prepare your favorite meal Emma. You'll love it," She said, walking away from my father and I , and straight into the room.

My father directed me to the living room. We sat down together. My eyes went hovering around. I noticed my brother was nowhere around. I had to ask my father.
