LOGIN“Oh yeah, what’s that?” I ask genuinely curious.
“We could make out.” Harrison says with a completely straight face, and I can’t stop the giggling that erupts from me.
“You are hilarious.” I say right as the bell rings signaling the end of class.
“You got lucky.” Harrison says giving me quick kiss on the cheek.
“I have study hall in the library next. Are you by any chance in there with me?” I ask hoping I don’t have to go alone.
Harrison frowns at me. “I’m not, but I think Calvin is.”
“Oh okay. I’m glad I won’t be alone.”
“Don’t miss me to much babe.” Harrison says with a wink and another quick kiss on the cheek.
“It will be hard, but I will try to survive without you.” I say giving Harrison a kiss on the cheek. “See you later.” I say waving as I turn and head towards the library building.
This is the first time all day I had to walk to a class by myself, and I am not going to lie I do not like it.
“Lilly, Lilly wait up.” I hear someone calling my name when I’m about halfway up the hill to the library. “Lilly.” I hear it again and I finally see Calvin running towards me.
“Oh hey.” I say waving at him.
“Damn girl you walk like you’re being chased by a damn serial killer.” Calvin says when he reaches me.
“I do not.” I say laughing.
Calvin huffs. “Yes, you do. I have never seen anyone walk so fast to class in my life.”
I can’t help but laugh again. “Well, I’m sorry.”
Calvin links his arm with mine. “Now that I can breathe again, let me escort you to the library.”
“Well thank you.” I say putting my hand on my chest. “I feel special.”
Calvin laughs and we make our way up the rest of the hill making small talk along the way. The library has more people than I thought there would be. “I didn’t realize so many people would be in study hall.” I say to Calvin when we find an empty table.
“Yeah, they just kind of throw all the extra people in here. The kids that don’t have anything better to do.” Calvin says taking the seat next to me.
“Oh, I see. So what do you do in here?”
“Umm, normally play on my phone. When I have homework, I do that, but that’s pretty rare.” Calvin says with a shrug of his shoulders.
Looking around the room, I see a lot of the kids from my other classes. Most of them ignore me, but some of the girls continue glaring at me the same way they have been doing all day. The bitchy part of me wants to ask what the fuck their problem is. The other part of me doesn’t want to start some shit on my first day. I was lucky I found a group of guys to be friends with, the last thing I need is a year-long war with the girls of the school.
The library door swings open again, and I swear he is following me. “I didn’t know Ryder was in this class.” I say to Calvin who is playing on his phone.
Calvin looks up right as Ryder makes eye contact with me. “Oh yeah, your ass hole stepbrother is in this class.”
“Thanks for the warning.” I say bumping shoulders with Calvin.
“Anytime baby. Anytime.” He says with a laugh, and I can’t help but laugh too.
Ryder sits at a table diagonal from me and Calvin, and I can feel his intense glare on me. Why does he keep staring at me like that? It is really starting to creep me out. “Yo, why is he staring at you like that?” Calvin asks and I realize he is staring at Ryder.
I look at Calvin. “I don’t know. He was staring at me and Harrison in my last class too. I thought it was just because Harrison was flirting with me, but apparently not.”
Calvin nods his head slowly in understanding. “Come on.” Calvin says bumping my arm with his.
“Where are we going?” I ask confused.
Calvin stands up and I follow him towards a row of books. He sits in the row with his back to the wall. “Come sit with me.” Calvin says spreading his legs and patting the floor in front of him.
“You want me to sit there?” I ask nodding towards the space between his legs on the floor.
A slow smile spreads across his lips and he nods. I stare at him for a minute before taking a seat in the space between his legs. “Lean back baby.” Calvin says as he wraps his arms around my waist and gently pulls me backwards until I am leaning against his chest.
“You want to watch some videos of some past games? I can explain some of the rules of the game so you will know when to cheer for me.”
“Who says I am going to have to know when to cheer for you?” I ask turning slightly to look at him.
Calvin narrows his eyes at me and gives me a flirty smile. “You are already wearing Logan’s football hoody, so I know you are going to become our new number one fan.”
I feel my cheeks heat, I had honestly forgotten I was wearing Logan’s hoody. Calvin chuckles in my ear and I don’t know what to say. Calvin takes my silence as agreement and decides to show me some of the game highlights from earlier in the season and last year. I didn’t think I would like it but not going to lie football does look pretty interesting.
The class period flies by and I don’t tell Calvin, but I am pretty excited to watch the guys play at their next game. When the bell rings signaling the end of class Calvin and I part ways. “Have fun at practice.” I say as we wave bye to each other.
Before I can make my way out of the building I’m stopped by Ryder when he walks by whispering in my ear. “Wow, you’re really enjoying being passed around huh?”
His question catches me so off guard I am unable to come up with a response before he disappears down the hill towards the football field. What a dick. I am not being passed around by anyone. They are my friends. I continue grumbling to myself the whole way to the main classroom building where my World History class is.
“Hey sexy.” Aaron says as we bump into each other in the hall.
“Hey.” I say with a little less enthusiasm than I probably would have if it weren’t for fucking Ryder being a dick.
“What’s wrong?” Aaron asks looking at me with genuine concern.
“Ryder is just a dick.”
Aaron nods his head. “What did he do now?”
I roll my eyes. “Nothing it’s just something he said after he saw me and Calvin together in the last class.”
“Oh, so he’s jealous.” Aaron says matter of fact.
A laugh erupts from me before I can stop it. “Jealous of what?”
Aaron shrugs. “You are sexy as hell and his girlfriend looks like a crack whore.”
I laugh so hard I snort which makes several other kids in the hall look at me. Aaron just laughs. “See even your laugh is sexy.”
I smack him on the arm as I try to reign in the laughter. “You are crazy. There was nothing sexy about me snorting.”
Aaron smiles. “At least I got you laughing, now come on let’s go to class.”
Aaron holds the classroom door open for me and gently pushes me towards the back of the room. What is up with these guys and sitting in the back of the room? Are they allergic to the front row or what?
“Sit with me.” Aaron says as he pulls up a chair by his table.
“Okay.” I say and the teacher comes in the room.
Aaron leans in really close and whispers. “Mr. Wilkins is kind of a dick so if you need to say anything just write it down.”
“Thanks for the tip.” I whisper back and he winks at me.
The class passes by the slowest of all my classes and Aaron wasn’t kidding. Mr. Wilkins really is a dick. Within the forty-five minute class period Mr. Wilkins sent two different kids to the office and gave one kid detention. Wow. I thought Aaron was over exaggerating, but he was not. I have never been so happy to hear a class dismissal bell.
“You know what mom. Fuck you! I can’t wait until you get your shit and get out of my life. I never want to see you again.” I say, walking past her. Her eyes go wide and her mouth drops open slightly. Wow. For once she has nothing to say. The one time I wish she would say something else, just so I would have a reason to slap the hell out of her. Something I would love to do, especially since is the last time I ever plan on seeing her. Ryder puts his hand on my back, walking beside me as I head towards the front door. “Are you okay baby?” He whispers in my ear."Yeah." I whisper. I am okay, at least I think I'm okay. I feel like I'm going to cry, but I refuse to cry. My mom doesn't deserve a single one of my tears. After today I never have to see her or talk to her again and I won't. She doesn't deserve to be part of my life or my family. Reece, Raikin, Ryder and Curtis are the only family I need. They have treated me better in the short time I've known them than my mom has in the ei
I'm hit with a sudden wave of nausea and I instantly regret eating all that food. My mom is coming here. Just fucking great. Obviously I knew my mom was going to have to come get her stuff eventually, but I was kind of hoping Curtis could just box it up and mail it to whatever hell hole she is living in now. "Thanks for telling me." I mumble as I push back away from the table and stand up. I turn and walk out of the room, going straight to the bathroom. I really feel like I am going to throw up. "Lilly?" I hear Reece call after me, concern evident in his voice. I don't answer though, instead I run to the bathroom down the hall. I barely make it in there before dropping to the floor in front of the toilet and throwing up. Over and over again. Within seconds Reece is at the bathroom door. "Lilly, oh my God! Are you okay?" He asks, rushing over to me. I throw up again and Reece grabs my hair, pulling it back away from my face. "Are you okay?" Ryder asks, coming in the bathroom next.
“Good morning, Dad.” Ryder says, in a very chipper voice.“Good morning, Curtis.” I say. Curtis smiles. “Are you guys hungry? I can whip you up something to eat real quick.”Ryder laughs. “We were actually coming downstairs to cook some breakfast.”“Are you hungry?” I ask Curtis. He nods his head back and forth. “Yeah, a little. You guys don’t have to worry about me though. I can make myself something.”I laugh. “We are going to make enough for everyone. I’m sure Reece and Raikin will be hungry when they wake up.”Curtis smiles at me. “Well, thank you. I will just have some of whatever you guys cook.”Ryder smiles and turns to me. “Pancakes, eggs and bacon?”I nod. “Yeah, that sounds good. I can do the pancakes, if you will do the bacon and eggs.” I say, giving him a sweet smile. I hate cooking bacon. I love eating it but hate cooking it. I always manage to burn myself.Ryder smiles. “That sounds perfect.”I go to the pantry and get the pancake mix, then I grab a bowl from the cabine
“What?” I ask, surprised. I mean I want to spend more time with them too, but I don’t want him to drop out of school because of me. “Are you serious?” Ryder asks, just as surprised as I am. Raikin smiles. “I’ve been thinking about it a lot. I really don’t want to go back to school. I don’t want to be away from you for that long.”I stand up from my bed and walk over to him. I grab his hands in mine and look up at him. “I don’t want to be away from you that long either, but I don’t want you to drop out of school because of me. I can’t ask you to do that.”Raikin squeezes my hands, smiling down at me. “You didn’t ask me baby. I want to do it.”I don’t even know what to say. I don’t want him to go back to school, I really don’t. I don’t want him to throw away all his hard work either though, especially not because of me.“Raikin you can’t do that. You don’t have very much longer left and then you will be graduating, same as me.” Reece says. Raikin shrugs. “I don’t really care about sc
“I still feel bad; I just didn’t want everything to happen like this.” I whisper, looking down at the table. Curtis doesn’t say anything for a second and I look up only to find him looking at me sympathetically. “Come here Lilly.” He says, motioning for me to come over to him. I stand up slowly and make my way over there. Curtis puts his hands on my shoulders and smiles at me. “There is nothing to feel bad about. You helped me do something that needed to be done. After hearing the way your mother talked to you, and seeing the way she treated you it was pretty clear to me. She was not the kind of woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Nothing you did or said would have changed that, the only thing you did was help me get rid of her faster. I don’t want you feeling guilty, okay?”I nod my head slowly. “Okay.” I whisper and he smiles at me, pulling me into a tight hug. “I will see you guys in the morning, try to get some rest. I love you guys, and I do mean all of you.” He s
Curtis laughs. "Well for starters the three of you constantly stare at her, and I saw the way she looks at you guys. You three always had to go check on her together, telling me three is better than one." Curtis rolls his eyes and I laugh. "You guys also need to work on your whispering. I could hear you guys flirting with her all the time. You aren’t very good at hiding it. Plus, every time I mentioned a boyfriend, or Logan or anything like that, the three of you looked like you wanted to punch someone. So, honestly I should have known the three of you were dating her, but I guess I'm just too old and boring to think of something like that."We all start laughing. “Well, you are old and boring dad. We probably should have tried a little harder to hide our feelings for her though.” Ryder says, smiling at me. “Well, I wish you guys would have told me about your relationship. I understand wanting to keep it a secret though. I do have a couple of more questions about it.” Curtis says, lo
When I come back downstairs Reece, Ryder and Raikin are all still in the living room but they are all wearing different clothes. Looking sexy as hell. Not that they needed to change to do that. The three of them look at me at the same time when I step through the living room door. I glance around
"You are the love of my life too baby." Reece says. "Yes you are baby." Raikin says. Ryder doesn't say anything and the two of them turn and look at him, giving him a suspicious look. Ryder keeps his eyes on me and I make a face, trying to get him to look at Raikin and Reece. It doesn't work. Ree

I can feel my guys tense around me at word boyfriend, even Ryder tenses up and he usually doesn't care. "Who are you talking about?" I ask, assuming she is talking about Logan, he isn't my boyfriend but I'm sure Curtis told her about me and my dates. Especially since he was so thrilled to hear abo
