Chapter 40. Father and Son Are the Same

Fay thought she was hallucinating. So, she ignored the voice. Didn't try to look for it. Although she wondered for a while. Why did those little voices come to this place?

"Mommy!" A small hand touched Fay's arm.

Fay jumped in surprise. Her hand nudged the vase. Fortunately, it didn't roll down.

Beside the table stood two twins. Their faces looked happy. Also relieved.

"Mike? Mika? Why are you guys here?" Fay's exclamation caught the attention of the other visitors.

Kevin frowned. This pair of similar-looking kids calling Fay 'mommy' made him feel uncomfortable.

"Mommy?" Kevin looked at Fay with curiosity.

"They are—“

Before Fay could answer, Mike quickly introduced himself. "Hello, Mr. Blair. I'm Mike. And this is my sister Mika. We are Mommy's kids."

Fay didn't know what to say. She looked miserable. People who heard Mike's explanation would think that Fay was married.
