11 - CaelumGunner, Emery and I want out of this stifling room, so I suggest a tour of the docks to see the latest expansion. Once we get a better read on this pack I can make a decision on if this Alpha is really working against the crown or not.As soon as we are on the front porch I feel like I can breathe again. I don’t know how these wolves live in such cramped quarters. I inhale deeply as I scan the bordering streets. Their packhouse is slightly elevated allowing a basic view of the surrounding houses. I can hear trainers in the distance calling out commands, and the sounds of bodies making contact. Beyond that I can hear the sea lapping at rocks and what I can only assume is ships in the deep harbor. The slight call of commands and grunts from heavy loads means they are working. 10 - CaelumArriving in Red River is interesting to say the least. Every lawn is perfectly cut and manicured. There is no debris from the forest littering unnecessarily into the roads; our kingdom doesn’t even have that level of maintenance. As usual when we enter a wolf pack, the stares are not hidden or shy. They can feel our aura from the car. They know we are more powerful and most of the time we see a significant increase in male presence the longer we are on a territory. 7 -RowanThis place hasn’t changed much in the last two years. I stop at the fence surrounding the grounds, taking in the building and realizing that I haven’t stepped foot near here since the rejection. Guilt immediately washes over me.
