Ryker stopped smiling when he realized that I was serious and said, "I would never betray the crown and Aidan would have your head for this." I ignored his reply and said, "These are my demands, you will lend me your men and you will help me become King, your pack will be nicely rewarded and your secret will be safe with me and lastly, I will return your mother to you."

The growls in the room were loud and their guard had their swords to my neck, I said, "Look outside," and a guard had a knife to his mother's throat while two witches had his armies on their knees with blood coming out their noses along with my rogue army on the outskirts ready to attack, I said, "I will be awaiting your answer. There are plenty of my men and other packs waiting for this territory and your people will not take kindly to an Alpha who prefers men in their bed." Ryker said, "I will never bow to you," and I gave the signal and they dropped to their knees in pain after I killed his mother in front of them.

My guards had knives to his brother's wife's throat, who was big with a child and Riley said in a panic, "Ryker please," his father had already passed out from the pain of losing his mate. Ryker looked at me defeated and said, "I will do as you wish," he was forced to his knees cutting his hand and giving a blood oath to do my bidding, I looked at the contract writing in blood and smiling at progress. He looked at me with pain on his face at losing his mother, I felt his anger and I turned to him and said, "I'm glad to do business with you," and took his father and Riley with us as leverage. I walked out to the dungeons, and I let Riley out to help with my coup and promised him, "You will go home to your wife if you don't fuck this up," he nodded in understanding. His father was a shell of himself after his mate's death so he remained in the cell, I walked out to meet my rogues and allies for one last meeting and helped them get into place. They knew exactly what needed to be done and Riley just looked at me as his brother walked in with a neutral face, I couldn't get a read off him but I linked him, "Behave, or my men will kill your father and Clara," he acknowledges what I said and I continue with my plan.

After I was at the wedding of Addy and Erik, I was going to kill Addy after the coup because she would know too much and she would be hard to control. Erik decided and convinced us that she would be helpful in the future so he would take her as a mate and keep her in line. I could see she was not happy but she was playing her part well, as long as she stayed out my way, I would spare her life. I'm not sure about Lora but we will see how that plays out, I mean she could be a nice mistress eventually but my main focus was to be King and have Lily as my Queen.
