The following short bonus story takes place after the events of The Genius Delta. No events from the book outright will be spoiled, so never fear. I hope you enjoy this Valentine's Day bonus story.

Business & Pleasure:

An unusual request from Alpha Sylvester of les Hurleurs Sanctifiés derailed Beta John’s Valentine’s Day plans as he and his wife Sarael had to leave Bloodmoon to assist Alpha Sylvester in his mystery quickly. Upon arriving at the Paris pack, it becomes clear why they were requested over Sylvester’s sister Sybille and her mate Gamma Charles. Something supernatural is abducting young werewolves after their first shift. Can John and Sarael get to the bottom of this mystery? Can they still have a romantic Valentine’s while enemies from Sarael’s past and new enemies emerge?

John Kinsley Jr - I had everything planned for a romantic Valentine’s getaway with Sarael. The day before we were going to fly, we were summoned to my brother’s office and informed that our plans had been changed. He ordered us to fly to Paris and assist Alpha Sylvester of les Hurleurs Sanctifiés. He was murky on the details, and after we arrived, I understood why we were requested, not Charles and Sybille. And while our primary focus is business, I hope to find a way to give my wife the romantic Valentine’s she deserves.

Sarael Adio Kinsley - We’re in Paris, which is a romantic city. John had promised me a Valentine’s getaway to remember. However, I don’t think working was supposed to be on the agenda. Or at least I hope helping Alpha Sylvester with an investigation of missing teenagers wasn’t John’s idea of a romantic getaway. The deeper we look into this mystery, the less likely we will have any time for romance.
