Jared POV
I sit and wait in the main living room for Lily to get back home from her “date” with Beta Rick. Rick has been my best friend from the time we were pups but right now he is my least favourite person. I had paced for an hour and now I had decided to sit and calm myself. I had to keep reminding myself this was my fault and not Lily or Rick’s.
As I finally hear footsteps coming up the stairs, I stand up waiting for the door to open. I hear Lily laughing as she and Rick walk in, Rick telling her some story that has her in stiches.
