“It’s done.” Alexander informed Martha through their mind link. “Marcus and Lilian are dead.”

Alexander leaned close to Marcus body, which was shrinking with each passing minute. “Hmmmm. I’m sorry this had to happen to you. But I can’t let you take over my pack. I wish it was someone else, I truly wish it was.”

A knock sounded on the door, jolting him from his thoughts and Alexander opened it to let Martha in. With two large duffel bags in her hands, she grinned widely when she saw Marcus and Lilian lying dead on the bed.

She wrapped her arms around Alexander’s neck and gave him a long, wet kiss. “You did it! I’ve always known you were a man of your words.”

His lips quirked. “We have to get rid of the bodies before anyone finds out. In less than an hour, the entire pack will be expecting them at the coronation hall.”

    DAISYLandon led me to his room, without saying a word to me, or letting go of my waist. I was grateful for that because it would simply make the princesses see the chemistry between us and annoy them even more."Come in," he said politely.I said nothing as I stepped in.
