Asher’s Point of View

“For fuck sakes! It’s so hard to get good help these days. Idiotic people.” Asher yelled then he punched the wall. Then threw a mug making it shatter on the ground.

“What’s wrong sweety?” Mace asked, sitting calmly. Knitting. “Did the Roman boy find our so-called daughter?”

“He did. Lucky for him, she does not remember him pushing her off that fucking cliff. Why on earth did he do that in the first place? You can teach them but you can’t make the shit stick.” Falling into my chair and giving out a sigh.

“Do not worry. That boy knows what he has to do and what will happen to him if he doesn’t. If Danyon finds out what he had done, he will be banished. Then we just play dumb and pretend we had nothing to do with any of it.” A smile appeared on Mace’s face while continuing knitting.
