The atmosphere stiffened inside my office" silence fell like a blade" I sat in silence the air turning colder and heavier between us" silent tension rising" I looked at my so called business partner in front of me" my fist clenched in anger

I wanted to choke him to death the only thing stopping me was because he was my cousin" but I still couldn't help but wonder how we shared the same blood" he was stupid

Scott say something man' your silence is eating me alive" I know I messed up big time this time around" he said standing five feet away from me" afraid I'll pounce on him because of my anger

What the hell Andrew!! I cussed looking at him anger flaring in my eyes

I'm sorry man' I really am"  I know investing the company's millions behind your back is the dumbest thing I've ever done" I thought it would be good for us never did I expect it would lead us to bankruptcy" he explained pasing around my office worriedly

Andrew" I called trying my best not to lose my temper

What man" he said turning around to look at me" not in a good way, and somehow it made me feel as if he wasn't telling me the whole truth

How much did you invest I asked looking at him" Does it matter he said avoiding eyes contact which confirmed my suspicions

Yes it does" you better start talking or I'll have your head on the table I said my tone cold and serious letting him know I had reached the brick of my patience"

Five hundred million he said rubbing his hands" once again silence fell between us" I  shuted my eyes a storm brewing inside of me

Who did you invest the five hundred million to I asked my voice ice cold as I clenched my fist" Scott calm down man he said adjusting his tie nervously"

Andrew you're my cousin " but this is business and you know I don't joke when it comes to business so you better start talking before I get angry or I'll forget we are blood related I warned giving him a deadly look

He looked at me clearly shaken" I invested it to your father" he promised me a large profit.. he said explaining but I cuted him off

You What" I said slamming my fist against the table" Andrew how can you invest five hundred million to the one man you know wants to see me fall flat on my face I said flamming in anger as he knew the the feud between us

He knew very well that ever since my father decided to let my brother marry my ex-wife things have never been the same in the family, they got worse when I left three years ago and decided to start my own company leaving his shadow, but that didn't please him at all and that's why he has been trying to sabotage me in everyway possible” and now he has finally succeeded, thanks to my dear cousin

I thought he wanted to help us grow the company he said trying to find reason in his words but all I can see is his stupidness

How can you simply trust him" you know what he did to me" I mean how could you not see through his trap I said angry
