When Kein arrived, Lily let him to enter as well; she didn't give a damn as long as we stayed together and everyone but me departed for the actual birth. After listening to Lily scream, cry, and wail out of pain, rage, and whatever else she was feeling for seven minutes in a room, Kein turned a ghostly white color and turned to face Daya.

Noah grinned and said, "This isn't the first time," adding that while he might have required his parents the first time, he was doing great this time, but Kein—well, he was in big trouble.

I thought Kein was going to pass out when Ethan took him out of the room for a few minutes to calm down before they returned. Lily was calm, and Daya was, well, a little bit or a lot mad. God knows what she's going to be like when she goes into labor.
