"Hey Anika get ready fast" Angela yelled at me.

"Yes, have your breakfast first" I said servings foods to her.

"You are darling Anika" she said coming to hug me.

"You are my angel" I said and handed her medicine with water.

"You don't say that, You know I am Devil" she said showing her toung and I laughed on her facial expressions.

"Ok get ready, otherwise you will going to late for your shool" I said going to my room.

"Listen wear that dress which I gifted you" Oliva yelled from behind.

" Yes yes" I said and opened my closet looking the dress which she gifted for graduation party with small note "Thanks for being with me ". I smiled on the way she is showing her gratitude.

I still remember the day when I found her on street completely unconscious state and street dog licking her face.I was coming back to my home from university when I saw her surrounded by street dogs.I took her to the hospital where I found she was abused and bruises on her body telling a whole story. Doctor asked me about her but I didn't know anything about her so I told them I found her on street. After couple of week when she back to conscious. Doctor asked few questions to her and she was shaking with fear and lost her memory due to continues hitting on her head.They wanted to send her orphan she was looking barley sixteen year old but I don't know but I feel like she need help and her mentally condition was not good and I know I can help her. So I took her responsiblity.From that day I started treating like my small sister, My baby sister. 

On this foreign land I found someone whom I can call my family. I still missing my family. sometimes I asked Miss singh about them but she told me don't think about anything just focus on your study. I know something happened at home but she didn't want to tell me and I don't want to force her.

"Anika are you ready" Angela said coming to my room without knocking.

"Yes, I am ready" I said looking to her.

"You look so pretty" she said coming to hug me.

I wore knee length halter one piece and it's look perfect on me. I also did little makeup.

"You don't have your part time job today" I asked when we left our apartmentgoing to University for convocation ceremony.

"No and from moday will resume my school and job" she said.

"Why you want to miss your school today" I asked glaring at her.

"I have planned surprise for you Anika" she said with pleading eyes 

"Your semesters are coming" I said. We reached to taxi which I booked from Uber.

"I want to spend sometimes with you, I need some session" she said and I stop at my place looking at her 

"Why, what happened still nightmares" I asked panic was lace in my voice.

"No, I found some blurry images last night" she said with low voice.

I breath with relief and told her " It's good news my angel, soon you will remember about yourself".

"Anika it had been one and half year and still I can't remember anything about me" she said frustrated.

"It's ok,you have me" I said Patting her shoulder.

"I know and I love you" she said hugging me.

"We reached at your location ma'am" we both looked drive and left the taxi going inside to University.

"Let's take a seat" I said to Angela and we seated.

I have very few friends in university. I was always reserved to myself and only study but here I found someone whom I started trust and also crushing on him. He is working in college as librarian. I spend my most of time in library so I started knowing about him. He also wanted to study but his family has condition so he end up with working to support his family.

He had promised me that he will be coming for my convocation ceremony and I planned to introduce to him my Angela.

"We would like to call our topper to come and receive tropy and certificate from our respective guest Mr. Alexander Weldon.

"Go it's your turn" Angela almost yelled at me.We were sitting at last row because we reached late for ceremony.

"I smile at her and directly went to stage to collect Trophy and certificate. I shook hand with Mr. Weldon but he squeezed my hand tightly and smirked on his face he said "Congratulations"

"Thank you sir" I said with small smile.

"Where are you" I messaged Paul once I sat down beside Angela.

"Wow Trophy" Angela said taking my trophy with my hand.

" Yes and I also want my baby sister get her trophy on her graduation day" I said ans she pout on my remark.

" You know I am not scholar like you" she said with pout.

" But I know she can achieve what she want" I said and she smiled.

" Let click you pictures with trophy and certificate" she said dragging me with her in university garden" There were so many students clicking pictures with there family and friends. I also started missing my family. 

"Are you missing them" Angela asked.

"yes" I said little moisture eyes.

"Don't be sad I am with you" Angela said hugging me.

"let's get pic now don't spoil your little makeup" she said and I nodded.

We clicked lots of selfies some my pictures with tropy. My cellphone vibrated and I checked it was Paul's massage. 

 " I am sorry. I am working today. will call you soon" 

I didn't reply. He know almost everything about me. He had promised me he will come so I won't feel lonely.

"Hey are you ok" Angela asked notice my mood off.

"I am good let's go home" I said and she nodded. 

" I am going to hospital. I was on leave for half day but I don't think so I need off today" I informed Angela.

" Ok but come home soon I have planned surprise" she said and I nodded.

I droped Angela at our apartment and left for hospital. During the whole ride I was thinking about my life. Paul is good or not.He can't even complete his one promise how can I trust him with life.

"Are you supposed to on leave" I heard Mrs Jones asked once I reached in hospital. she is receptionist and my good friend.

"Yes, but I guess I need here more" I said looking patients at counters

"Yeah but I have arranged them for Dr. Nick but as you always late" she said and we both started laughing.

"Send some of them in my cabin" I said and went back to my cabin.

I drunk galss of water and wore my white code. I sat on my chair looking for mails and some mails from my clients there issues and progess.

" May I come in" I heard voice and looked up seeing a girl in her Teenage with her monther.

"Yes please" I said.

They came and sat the front of chair. A women in her mid forties give me file and I opened reading history of patient.

Age : 12

Trauma : Abused by step father.

There was all details about her school and home address everything was their but I need her name and age and most important trauma.what she is facing.

"Sorry to aske but when it was done" I asked her mother

"It had been 6 month. he is behind the bar but she didn't recover from trauma yet. Every night she scream for help and it's hurting seen my baby like this" she said like she will sob in any time.

"Please don't care, I will take care of her. Can I take with her alone" I asked and she nodded.

"Hi Alish, I am your doctor Anika" I said once her mother left.

"Hi" She said like she wishper.

"How's you feeling today" I asked 

"Fine" she again said in low voice.

"Do you want to share me anything you want" I asked tried she is ready or not. I know she is scared.

"I don't want to go mental asylum" she said.

"You don't need to go dear, who said" I cooed her sitting beside her.

"My grandmother was saying I need to go mental asylum because I broke things when had nightmare last time" she said looking down playing with her fingers.

"Do you want to tell me why you have nightmare and I will help to stop them. I promise you" I said looking at her.

"Will those nightsmare not bugging me again" she asked with hopeful eyes.

"Yes it's my promise" I said smiling at her.

"Ok during night I feel my like my stepfather touching me inappropriately and I feel disgusting with my self. I want to ripped my skin to remove his touch" she said tear in her eyes.

"No don't ever do that sweetheart, He is bad man and he is just a bad dream whenever you open your eyes in night do you see him around you" I asked giving her water.

"No" she said 

"Because he want to harm you in your dreams and you let him do that" I said.

"What I have to do to let him not harm me in dreams" she asked.

"Don't think about him ever and take medicine on time which I will give you. Go for run and also little dance on your favourite song" I said 

"I don't have friends" she said.

"But I thought I am your friend" I said with pout.

"But you are doctor" she said.

"I can be friend too" I said.

"Will you follow my little advice. Make yourself happy and I am always there for you" I said .

"I will do that" she said with small smile.

"That like being friend of Anika" I said grinning.

I called her mother and prescribed her medicine and also tell her don't talk anything about her past and mental health at home. It will only demotivate her.

Day went like this meeting new people with their problems and helping to listening them. I reached at my appartment around 6pm. Angela opened door with big grinning.

"So happy" I asked.

"Yes" she said giving my space to come inside.

"Why" I asked removing my shoes.

"See youself " she said looking at kitchen.I went inside kitchen and saw someone busy making food. Her back was showing me but I know who is she.
