CHAPTER SIXTY SEVEN

Ruby became extremely angry as she replayed the phone call she just had. She understand Stephan was avoiding her but to let Amelia take his call when he could have ignored was another ball game entirely. “Why was he with her?” She muttered to herself angrily. “I thought he said they were just friends, yet he is spending private quality time with her. Men are scum.”

However much she tried to convince herself that it was wrong to feel this way, she just couldn't help it even though she is aware of his engagement to Amelia.

Lost in her thoughts, she didn’t know when the chef came out of the kitchen carry her dinner, he set the table, “Bon appetite” he wished her, hoping she enjoys the meal but Ruby’s appetite was already down the drain.

She kept turning the food on her plate without tasting it, the chef who noticed her unusual behaviour approached her, “Is everything okay Miss Ruby? You haven’t tasted your meal, don’t you like it? If you don’t, I can make something else,” The chef asked
