Chapter 38: Bad intentions

"Lily can easily provoke anyone without fear." Dante suddenly remarked about his sister: "Alden is rarely rude to her. Yet today Alden looks like a different person."

Cara looked at Dante incredulously. What he said honestly Cara didn't care at all.

"If that's not rude, what is it called?" Dante asked, trying to distract Cara's gaze.

"I do not know." Cara casually replied.

Dante suddenly burst out laughing, making Cara feel like she was being silly. Is she behaving or acting silly? Cara doesn't know either. The only thing Cara can do is to be quiet and pretend not to understand so that Dante can stop, or see Cara is not interested and say goodbye.
