Evelyn's POV
"Alright, com'on! Cross the border." Clara said, pulling me up as I laid on the ground exhausted.
The luggage was weighing me down and I was ready to throw it away any second I got the chance for it to.
"Let me rest." I whined, limping my body.
"Com'on, big girl." Clara groaned, trying her best to get me perfectly still on my feet.
I let my body free-fall, using no strength and desire to get up and get to work on with the plan.
"I will, just let me rest." I whined again, not wanting to separate from the ground that was pleasing to lay on.
"Mom, a little help here." Clara asked my mother who was having fun just watching us.
"No, don't count me in for that." She smiled, resting her side on the tree.
Clara groaned, dumping me hard on my butt and stomping away somewhere. I didn't t
Clara's POVEverything was going perfectly as we planned. Not perfectly because first of all, all I had planned was to get her out of here. Not on how will I get her out of here?It was simple in words but difficult when it came to implying. And even worse after we never predicted what was gonna happen.I grabbed Eve's hands, pulling her out the boundary line that's when she stumbled on her feet and sat on the ground with a heaving chest.I didn't know why that was happening because that never happened to me when I used to escape from my pack.I jerked my head at my mother-in-law, searching for the answers in her eyes but she held the same confusion building in her eyes like mine.We were utterly confused."Eve? Are you okay?" I asked, crouching down to her.She shook her head, slowly. I li
Clara's POVIt was still night. Past midnight. Now, if I was a teenager and if my parents were still alive, I would have a curfew but since that passed away like what I had for lunch, we were out here.In the dark. It wasn't completely dark but you get the meaning. If you don't... then open your window and tell me what does it looks like staring at the night sky?Dark. Exactly. If not, then we don't share the same brains."Anyone would be glad for not sharing your brain with theirs. That would be the end of the world." Eclipse butted in my thoughts."Will you let me have a personal space for my thoughts?" I asked, bothered."No. We don't do that in this household 'cause who would know that your next idea would be putting yourself in danger!" Ugh!I blocked her, not wanting to hear her taunts. Well, my biological mom did save my wolf by her wolf so... I guess that's why Eclipse is so taunted and boiled headed whenever I think of doing something crazy. But she even stops me when I'm abo
Clara's POVHello, it's still me who's going to narrate this whole fiasco playing out in my life, and guess what!Maybe Esmeralda will come back and I will die. Well, you only live once."You started being pessimistic again." Eclipse taunted me."And you're taunting again. I know, I know, I'm just- well- nevermind. This sucks." I mumbled, walking back to the packhouse along with my mother-in-law."Everything sucks. I thought this was over." Jen, my mother-in-law spoke after I let out some whining grunts."I know right! I mean, why would Xavier want to bring her back? He didn't really help her much..." I thought of the time when he indeed helped her.He helped her to get me to her pretty huge mansion that maybe I can get the property papers named to me and Ivy. He helped her... I still don't know why he abducted Evelyn that day.I was supposed to get abducted by him, not her. Then why did he do that instead?"Don't you know if you abduct someone you love, they come to save that loved on
Clara's POVThe night was pretty long but Ivy's questions didn't seem to finish even though we were being sure he doesn't find anything about the whole body swap thing. But, -yeah I know there's always a but- he was irritating me so much that when he asked me again, I just said to him the real reason we were out."Wait what? Clara, stop with the excuses, honestly." Ivy said after my intentional slip out.Jen was pointedly looking at me, warning me about it.And my brother is a copy of being a dumbhead like me, though I was bluffing."You wouldn't believe me anyway so I'm going. Goodnight." I bid him goodbye, grabbing my mother-in-law's hand and pulling her upstairs."Why did you tell him the truth?" Jen asked after we were far from him and in safe proximity."Because he was annoying me. Mom, he won't believe it any
Clara's POVSo... it's still me again. Hi, I'm Ryan and my life is kinda crazy."You're name is Clara, not Ryan." Eclipse as usual interrupted me having my quality conscious conversation."You won't get it. You're too old for this." I snickered, flipping my hair.Eclipse groaned, blocking me as that was the only thing she can do. If she was a human, she would've slapped the door on my face. I don't know why that came into my head but that's what I thought of on how she will block me in reality. "You're dumb. A big dumbhead." Eclipse retaliated."I already heard that. Tell me something new." I blew the hair strand off my face, resting my chin on the palm of my hand."... I hate you." And ladies and gentlemen, Eclipse loves me so much that she can't insult me."No, I didn't say anyt
Clara's POVI knew I was good when it came to escaping and running away from the only home I had before I met Ivan but when it came to taking half of the tribe to escape, I sucked at it."You have to tell me some way or the other," Ivy said after I had rejected him spilling the teas and beans."Why?" I pondered."Because I will find out about it anyway and Ivan wouldn't be thrilled to hear this." Ivy pulled the string. He really is asking for it. If I am going to honest, I didn't want to join him in this trouble. Why? Because when I came, every single pack member and my new loved ones had to face the disaster with me. I appreciate that they didn't throw me away when I screamed trouble but I never had the intention to pull them in this mess. This is my mess."It's Ivy's too." Eclipse piped in.
Clara's POVI'm going, to be honest. I still don't know why we are stuck here. Not that we're forced to but we have a choice.Apparently, other than me chose not to leave and be stuck in here. For how long? Well as long as my brother wakes up."Can we not just leave him here? It would make things easier." I whined, stomping my feet in urgency."Weren't you just sappy about how twins stick together?" Janice retaliated, eyeing me.I groaned. "Those were his words. Not mine, because I still think it's best to leave him out of this.""And let two pregnant ladies do this? You must be crazy, Clara." Ivy suddenly intervened, waking up from his shocked little nap."I know that already." I exasperated, throwing my hands as I tapped my foot against the floor uncontrollably.Janice frowned and watched me with her eyes
I know I said that Evelyn would be more in the story but Clara is taking back her role lol. Anyways on with the story._____________Clara's POV"Ivan, what... um... babe?" I waved my hand in front of his face but he blankly looked at me with a frown. Is he deciding whether it's worth being mad at this cute and caring wife?"No, he's deciding on how to punish a troublemaker and crazy wife." There she goes again with her sarcastic response,That nobody asked for.I waited for him to say something, anything. I still don't know what's going through his head.Or wait is he challenging me for the staring contest? Could it be that? But at this hour?"Yeah, 'cause why not? It's night and usually eyes heavy and it's hard to stare in the dark. Obviously, it's the perfect time t
