31. BRINGING HER DOWN.
She can't go down in this torn dress... Van Dough had sent away all the remaining dresses back to the stores. Now she doesn't even have a second option to wear.
Means.. she is not attending the party? She wished to see the masquerade party in her life.. now that her dress is ruined, what will she do?
A tear rolled down her cheek. Why do her dreams always break away? She can't even stay happy for a minute.
Another second and the tears started flowing from her eyes, heavy much.. she cried and sobbed, sitting on the floor of changing room.
After full five minutes, a girl came in and called out her name.
"Amelia.," she said and got no response. Then, she heard sobs coming from the changing room, as she walked there and opened the door, she was startled.
"Amelia!" she said and got on her knees, fidgety all over her face.
"H-Hope.." she stuttered crying, taking big hiccups as she trying to speak.

The Balkan was such an amazing hotel that Amelia wouldn't have been surprised to see a stay there offered as a prize on a TV game show. It was tucked away in a crescent-shaped cove with miniature villas spread out along the beach and a low-rise reception area almost lost in a miniature jungle of exotic shrubs and flowers.
