32. DANCING DREAM.
The moment everybody laid eyes on her was the moment Jewel stared at her in astonishment. The girl was too beautiful, like an angel walking down the earth.
Although her face was covered with a delicate yet pretty mask out of all the ladies in the party, she was the shining star.
The smirk on Christian's face grew big while Kristopher saw the girl next to her, dressed in a red ballgown. And it somehow attracted him.
The rich men in the party seemed to be amazed at the black-dressed girl and a few walked to her, offering a drink or a dance as she politely refused them and walked to the bar side.
"Do you want to have a drink?" Hope, who was dressed in a red dress, wearing a mask, asked Amelia.
"No, I don't drink..." she refused.
Jewel without saying a word stomped her feet towards the stairs and went upstairs.
Christian took one quick look towards Jewel, then said, "You know what, I am going to dance.."

The Balkan was such an amazing hotel that Amelia wouldn't have been surprised to see a stay there offered as a prize on a TV game show. It was tucked away in a crescent-shaped cove with miniature villas spread out along the beach and a low-rise reception area almost lost in a miniature jungle of exotic shrubs and flowers. There was a doughnut-shaped swimming pool with a bar in the inner ring and stools poking up just above the level of the water. The whole place seemed to be asleep.
