Chapter 15

"Are you sure this is right?"

Jezzebelle kepted glancing up to the clerk and then back down at her reciept. She was super confused because most of the time when she booked it was always high in price. She never recieved the otherworldly discount. She always got the short end of the stick

Holding the reciept up, she reread the reciept. What surprised her even more was when the clerk tapped her finger on the counter and responded to her.

"It is correct My Lady."

Bringing the paper down Belle's mouth dropped open. She looked at her sister who looked at her.

"Am I hearing this correctly did she just speak to me. Or am going crazy?"

Anna shook her head no and was just as surprised as her.

"Not unless I am going crazy as well. I guess we both need to check into the pshycratric Ward for some down time."

Jezzebelle tried not to snicker on that comment. Matt made an impatient sound and looked at Jezzebelle. "It is a discount JZ. Just get the keys to the room. I am like ready to go upstairs." Throwing up his hands he went straight to the elevator. One of Jezzebelle's eyes twitched. 

"I swear he wants to die one of these days." Her little sister agreed with her as Jezzebelle grabbed the room keys. "How about this, I am just going to eat him." The clerk snickered at her comment. 

"I honestly do not know how you two put up with him."

Both Anna and Jezzebelle looked at her and said in unison 

"We don't."

Anna snickered and then pointed at Belle. "She actually almost did eat him but I stopped her."

Belle turned towards her little sister. "Because he is annoying and was making me mad at the time." As Belle was saying that she was signing papers and was getting Matt's room key. Throwing her purse on, they headed to the elevators.

"Why all of a sudden are they talking to us sis? This is not normal and it is really spooky." Looking at her little sister she sighed. 

"It probably has something to do with this." Belle pulled the envelope out of her purse, showing her sister the seal on the back. Her little sisters mouth fell open.

"When were you going to tell me!

Jezzebelle stopped alittle short not getting too close to their boss.

"When I opened it and read it."

Annabelle ducked her head down. Pulling her sisters chin up softly she looked into her sisters eyes.

"Sissy I miss them too. I miss father and.......I miss him alot you know I do but we need to be careful otherwise we could end up back to square one. I do not want to make a mistake and find out it is a trap. Do you understand me?"

Anna shook her head and Jezzebelle smiled. Their boss was impatiently tapping his foot waiting on them. The trio got into the elevator riding to the top floor. Getting their boss settled in always takes forever. While Anna was talking to Matt, Belle slipped out into the hallway. Quietly shutting the door behind her she unzipped her purse. Taking out the envelope, she ran her fingers along the royal seal.

She stared at the peice in her hands for a couple of minutes debating if she should open the envelope or totally just ignore it. Gathering enough courage she unsealed it.

Gently, she unfolded the letter, her heart hammering in her chest. There were two letters. One containing an invitation, the other a personal letter. Picking the formal letter first, she opened it. It was an invite to a masquerade ball in honor of the Kings offical 1,000 years as a vampire. The letter stated, 

"You are cordially invited to celebrate The Kings one thousandth year. In honor of His Majesty a masquerade ball will be held on July 17th 2030."

Oh how nice a year in advance, as usual when it comes to balls. Her face held disdain and disbelief at the invitation. It was probably a setup to see if she would disobey the rules of an exile. She was never to set foot on any vampire soil. The Hotel being the exception due to other Citidals.

Growling, she crumbled up the invitation and shoved the ball into her purse. Taking the personal letter, she brought it to her nose. She knew who wrote this letter. Taking a deep breath she opened this one. As she begun to read it, her eyes started to tear up.

"To ma petite chauve-souris de sang, I am hopeing you find this letter with ease. there is something we need to discuss. I am hopeing you decide to take the invitation that is attached to this letter and come to the ball. Knowing you, you would probably not come due to not trusting any of us. I really need to speak with you. Please my little rose. Forever Yours

Wiping the tears that had fallen, she refused to acknowledge any of it. After what happened, after everything and he just thinks she will forgive him. She just outright refused to believe any of it
