Chapter 59 The Big Day

Lucian and I spent a lovely night together and we both slept well due to our numerous mating sessions. When I woke up the next day the bed was empty. Rubbing my eyes I could hear lots of noise coming from outside of the room and figured I should get up for the busy day. After showering and dressing quickly I opened the bedroom door to see huge hybrid warriors swarming the halls and swallowed nervously. I spied Micah down the hall and made my way toward him.

"What is going on with all the muscle?" I asked curiously. Micah frowned and replied, "The Elder's top guard was found dead in the clearing and a couple of the Elders are fearful." I knew instantly who the Elders were and grinned slightly.

"Have you seen Lucian?" I questioned and he told me he was downstairs speaking with our father. I nodded and Micah asked if I was excited about becoming the queen.

"Not really, if I am honest, brother. I believe that some surprises may be coming," I said cryptically and he raised his brow at me.
