I knew what he was talking about before he elaborated. It had happened a while ago, the first time he claimed but it had been so bad his parents had nearly separated. His dad hit his mom.

Luca had told me about it and I almost found it unbelievable. It would be very weird to say this but if he hadn't witnessed it, I wouldn't have believed it. Mr Romano was a very calm, even tempered man from what I knew.

I had been around him along with my dad and from their interactions it had been normal. The way he also addressed me was very normal, there was no sign of a temper. Nobody would have believed Mrs Romano if she didn't have Luca as a witness.
