Bound To The Beast Alpha

Bella's pov.

“Look at her, so pathetic.” Reilly, my step sister sneered as I was being bundled with the rest of the servants meant for the yearly tribute.

My feet and hands were clamped in cold silver chains, bristles covered my legs like a bookmark design.

Even my lips were parched and dry.

“I didn't do anything to deserve this.” I whispered, a painful knot formed in my chest 

Reilly stepped forward, her hand raised for a strike.

Before I could dodge, it landed sharp, tearing the side of my lips letting blood to spill out.

“You should be grateful we show you such mercy. A very useless human like yourself doesn't deserve to be a part of this pack.”

“I will die if you send me there. Please.” My voice croaked.

My father, Alpha North. He stood watching the scene, his hands toying with step mother's hair.

“Father, please!” 

As I fell on my knees, the chains rattled, gnashing into my bones.

I ignored the pain , crawled on my knees and hands like an animal.

Father did not even spare me a pitiful glance.

I grabbed one of his legs aggressively.

“Don't send me away, I will do anything you ask of me, anything at all.”

He finally looked down at me and his gaze was filled with so much disgust.

He kicked me in the chin with his legs forcefully and blood gushed out of my nose

“Get your cursed hands away from me!” He growled.

My eyes rolled into my socket as my head connected with the ground harshly.

I heard step mother as she spoke her voice filled with so much disdain.

“I told you darling, you should have gotten rid of her from the moment she was born.”

My bone quaked as I tired to get up.

Father glared at me with so much hatred in his eyes.

“If you want to blame anyone for your misfortune, blame it on your whore of a mother. She cursed you to have her human genes.”

That was my only crime, the fact that I was born from a human mother.

A woman I never had the opportunity to know.

I don't even know how she died, since it was forbidden to speak about her.

“Take them away” he ordered the guard 

The chains were pulled forcefully and I was dragged with the other servants being loaded into the van

Reilly began to snicker as I set foot on the van, I turned my head slowly to face her

“You will rue the day you convinced father of this cruel decision against me.”

She burst out into laughter, her head fell back.

“Awwwn, big sister wants to take her revenge on me.” She moved.

“I'll like to know how you'd do that.”

The door of the van slammed shut into my face and Reilly peered in.

“I'm sure you won't survive the night dearest sister, but may the goddess welcome your soul.”

The van began moving roughly, I was chained together with the other servants and we bumped hard against each other.

We were being offered as yearly tribute to Alpha Kaidon.

Rumor has it that he's a beast, and the most ruthless alpha to ever walk the face of the earth.

Just as Reilly said, I might not even survive the night.

“They say he eats other wolves.” One of the servants muttered in the dark van.

The others gasped in terror, and they began to whimper in fear.

I was the only one silent as I listened on to their talks.

“You have to stay alive, Bella.” A voice said in my head.

I was confused by it. I have never had a solid reason to live, why does it have to be now

The Van came to halt. And we all crashed on the floor of the vehicle.

“Everybody out!” The guard barked as he opened the door.

We stepped out into the mansion, and a sudden eerie feeling crept up my spine

The mansion was dark, as in painted in dark like some kind of gothic building.

I heard the stories of his ruthlessness, but I never assumed he was this dark.

“Roll call!!!!” 

We were made to stand in front of giant guard, who called out names one after the other

I came with nothing more than the clothes I had on, and I was supposed to be the daughter of an alpha.

I don't know if it was just me, but I was feeling extremely cold standing out there in the cold night.

They were still assessing us, they might probably find out that I am too weak to be kept here and sent back.

An elderly woman came out and started examining our bodies.

She stopped right in front of me, her eyes almost boring a hole in the middle of my forehead.

Her nose widened as she sniffed my hair

“Who sent this thing to Alpha Kaidon?” She spat with irritation.

“She's the daughter of alpha North, he finds her useless, that's why he sent her.”

The woman whom I assume was the matron of the gothic mansion eyed me with disgust.

“Alpha North must be mad for sending a useless thing here.”

I swallowed hard and looked down at my blistered feet.

This wasn't the first time I was referred to as ugly.

“She's ugly and looks diseased, she's of no use here.”

My heart was already doing a jig, if she decides to reject me now. 

I'd take the opportunity to run away, to a far away town where no one will ever find me.

Her next words shattered my hopes of freedom.

Like a stone thrown at a huge mirror.

“It's a shame we can't return any of the tributes.”

My hearts sunk into the depth of my stomach slowly.

“Take them in. We need to prepare them for the master.”

Just like that, my fate was sealed, the entrance of the Gothic mansion opened up like a beasts mouth about to swallow it's preys.

One way or the other, I must escape from this fate.
