The next morning, I began preparing breakfast for all of us. With one more added to our number, I now had to cook for her as well.

I sighed, helpless and irritated. J’ust for Roman’s sake, so he won’t lose his shit again. Otherwise, I wouldn’t lift a finger for that bitch.’

I rummaged through the fridge, trying to figure out what I could make that she’d be allowed to eat—or could even digest in her state. I didn’t want Roman to think I was deliberately ignoring her needs.
