Midnight visit

"Where is the queen?" Luciana asked the prince after they were done playing around. She had gotten down from the table and taken the seat opposite the one he sat on with the table between them. She thought she needed the distance. The feel of his lips on her skin still lingered on, and it was messing with her mind.

"She is having the time of her life with rats and other rodents and insects." Raziel gave a nonchalant response.

"What do you mean?" Luciana asked with a frown.

"I mean she is locked up in the dungeon."

"Why?"

"For killing the king." He responded in the same casual tone.

"But she didn't do it. What is going to happen to her?" Luciana asked, looking a little worried.

"Uhm... the usual. She's going to be tried in the town's council. If she is found guilty, she would be executed."
