FROM HIS HATRED, A DARKER DESIRE IGNITES

❤️ The Council's Verdict ❤️

"Uncle, you send for me." Nyxoria was seen walking toward him. She was in her chamber when a messenger came to pass her the message of her presence being needed in the palace.

Vyr sat upon a throne of pure gold, the sunlight streaming through the open window catching the jewels of his crown and bathing him in a commanding glow. Draped in crimson and sable robes, he radiated quiet authority, a living emblem of power and majesty. Around him, the council of elders, about four, gathered at a massive oaken table, their robes marked by symbols of their clans and wisdom etched into their faces. They all turn to look at her with a big frown and angry looks on their faces, especially the one with a missing arm.

Nyxoria didn't care, her focus was on her uncle who beamed at her when she finally stopped beside him.

"Yes, indeed I did," Vyr said. "What do you say to this?" he asked, pointing at what he and the elders were discussing. A scroll was on the table and in front of Vyr.

Nyxoria looked at the scroll briefly and returned her gaze back to her uncle.

"I say we kill almost all of them and take the others." She told him.

One of the council of elders scoffed at what she said.

Nyxoria's eyes narrowed at him. "Uncle, will you miss him if he is gone? I think his seat is hurting his dirty ass."

Quickly holding one of Nyxoria's hands and Vyr vigorously shook his head at her. He had once made a mistake when she had uttered those words ten years ago when Elder Rue of the Water clan wolf had spoken of killing her, the following day after her parents tragic death. He had grabbed her hair and was shouting at Vyr and then Nyxoria uttered those words 'Uncle, will you miss him if he is gone? Let me start with this arm' and he and the elders had ignored her thinking it was just mere words until Elder Rue suddenly screamed out in pain. That was then they discovered she had cut off the hands holding her hair from the shoulder.

That day and even ten years later Vyr hasn't forgotten. Somehow, Nyxoria always has her sword hidden somewhere in her body and doesn't hesitate to use it.

"Don't Nyxoria," Vyr said and faced the elder that spoke, "do you have anything else to say than scoffed Elder Rivar?" He asked.

Elder Rivar was a 550 hundred and fifty years old werewolf who governed the Fire wolf clan.

"Yes I do, we send them a letter warning them to stop the killings and if they fail to heed to our warnings, we attack."

"You are buying them time you know," Nyxoria said before her uncle would speak. "the Bloodfogers would have already had a plan if you sent them the warnings. Like I said killing them and capturing the ones that survived and then torture them and make them reveal who had told them to use the forbidden dark magic of theirs to capture our pups and use them for sacrifice, is the best idea. If you are sending them a letter, it only means one thing, Rivar, you are working with them."

When their newborns began to go missing in Alabaster Ward; where the new mothers stays until they healed and are ready to go back to their homes, every full moon five pups go missing even though security was tight, this kept going on and it wasn't until when they came to take another pups for the sixth time that one of the mothers that her new born baby was taken noticed how they look and dressed and when she described them to Vyr and the elders after she told them she saw one of them, they immediately know it was the Bloodforgers. Bloodforgers have the ability to control blood and use them for blood magic and for them to be taking their newborns would mean, they are planning something and only the gods know exactly what they are using their pups for.

Rivar glared at her but didn't say a word and none of the Elders said anything.

Nyxoria smirked. "Now that I have all your attention, Rivar," she likes calling his name to provoke him. "Since your clan is the strongest I suggest you take some of your wolf warriors and lead them to the cave the Bloodforgers are staying, kill some to show your strength and capture the others for me to torture, they will confess faster to me than to you."

"Any objections to what my niece has said?" Vyr asked.

The four elders shook their heads at once.

"If there are no objections then Elder Rivar you do as Nyxoria had suggested, I mean that's what I would have said too." Vyr said and Elder Rivar glared at both of them, then stood up and bowed to Vyr before leaving. One after the other they left until Vyr and Nyxoria were left alone.

"You know they are your seniors, Nyxoria, you accord them with respect."

"Then he should act his age uncle and be full of wisdom, how did that brain of his come up with such thoughts?"

Vyr sighed, ever since that night ten years ago, Nyxoria had changed and by each day, she was getting worse.

Ten years ago, the night that changed everything. Vyr had given the servants instructions to clean up Nyxoria's room and arranged the dead bodies of his late twin brother and his wife. Nyxoria hadn’t woken up until the next morning, the news of what happened to High King Laka and his wife had spread and the elders of council had summoned Vyr and his niece to the throne room.

"You killed your parents?" Elder Rivar accused.

"I can't remember," Nyxoria mumbled out.

"Such an act of yours is death by hanging." Elder Rue stated.

"But she has the mark of Obsidian Sigil of Liora." Vyr spoke almost immediately. "So death shouldn't be her punishment and neither should she be punished at all."

"Correction," Erezhul said calmly. "I am not just a little bit stronger. I am a lot stronger than you can ever possibly think of or imagine." As he spoke those words, Erezhul raised both of his hands out sideways as a gesture of power. His head tilted upward and backward, looking up at the dark night sky above them. Suddenly, thunder started rumbling loudly and lightning began striking down from the sky directly at Erezhul's body. But instead of hurting him, the lightning and thunder seemed to circle around him, forming rings of pure electrical energy that rotated behind his back like glowing halos. The sight was absolutely terrifying and beautiful at the same time. Then Erezhul pointed one finger directly toward where Myrrak was standing. An arrow ma

Every punch he threw sent a warrior flying backward. Every kick knocked down multiple enemies at once. And he was so fast that most of the warriors could not even see him moving until after he had already hit them.A group of wolf warriors tried to tackle him all at the same time from different angles. Erezhul jumped straight up in the air, did a flip, and came down, landing with one foot on top of each of their heads. Then he pushed off and launched himself backward, sending all of them crashing face first into the ground.Three vampire soldiers attacked with their supernatural speed, moving so fast they were almost invisible. But Erezhul was faster. He caught the first one's punch without even looking, used that vampire as a weapon to hit the second vampire, and then kicked the third vampire so hard he went flyi

Chapter 8️⃣1️⃣❤️ The Shadow God's Wrath (2) ❤️Erezhul was not even using his full strength at all to fight them. He was just toying with them like a cat playing with mice. But then something happened that made him stop completely.Liora tried to push herself up to her feet, but the terrible pain from all her wounds prevented her from being able to stand. She did not even realize she had cried out loud in pain until she heard her own voice echoing in the throne room. That sound made Erezhul stop everything he was doing immediately. He turned his head to look at Liora lying there in a pool of her own blood, and even though he was angry at her for betraying him, seeing her in so much pain actually hurt him deep in his chest because he was not the one who had caused that pain and it would had meant something to him if he was the one.Without saying anything to anyone, Erezhul quickly walked over to where Liora was lying on the floor. He stood there looking down at her, and even though h

She crashed into the ground and just lay there without moving at all. The guards who were stationed at that gate all rushed over quickly to check on her, but no matter how much they shook her or called her 'My lady', Bana absolutely refused to move or open her eyes. She was out cold.Back to the throne room because of what they had just witnessed happening to Bana so easily, Legion, Noah, and Fefe all hesitated and refused to move forward to attack. They just stood there, staring at Erezhul with fear starting to show in their eyes."Are you all completely deaf?" Lynn yelled at them with fury in her voice. "I said fight him right now! Attack him!"The three fighters looked at each other nervously, but they knew they had no choice. Lynn was still technically their master according to the transfer that Liora had done. So even though they were

"If you had only listened to me, she would already be dead by now and we would not have to deal with any of this." Daisy was standing there among all the other people in the throne room, and she was probably the most shocked out of everyone present. She was praying desperately to every single god that she knew the name of, begging and pleading that the Erezhul who just walked through those doors was not the same exact Erezhul that she had told Lynn and Myrrak to get his heart from. If they turned out to be the same person, then she was in huge trouble, the kind of trouble that could get her killed. She was hoping with everything she had that it was just a coincidence that they had the same

Chapter 7️⃣8️⃣❤️ The Shadow God Return ❤️Myrrak thrust one of his hands forward towards Liora and started whispering something under his breath that nobody else could hear. Then something that looked like a round ball made of dark metal fire with really sharp edges all around it left his hand and flew through the air. The attack hit Liora directly on her stomach with terrible force, which made her fall completely to the ground. She started vomiting up even more blood than before, and it pooled on the floor around her.But even though she was lying there in her own blood and clearly dying, Liora began to laugh. The sound was weak but genuine. "Nothing you do to me now would actually hurt me anymore. The only hurt that I have, the only pain that has been really hurting my heart since it happened, is killing Erezhul. I was so selfish and stupid. I thought that maybe you would change your mind about betraying me if I brought you Erezhul's heart like you wanted. But my selfishness and my
