❤️ The Council's Verdict ❤️
"Uncle, you send for me." Nyxoria was seen walking toward him. She was in her chamber when a messenger came to pass her the message of her presence being needed in the palace. Vyr sat upon a throne of pure gold, the sunlight streaming through the open window catching the jewels of his crown and bathing him in a commanding glow. Draped in crimson and sable robes, he radiated quiet authority, a living emblem of power and majesty. Around him, the council of elders, about four, gathered at a massive oaken table, their robes marked by symbols of their clans and wisdom etched into their faces. They all turn to look at her with a big frown and angry looks on their faces, especially the one with a missing arm. Nyxoria didn't care, her focus was on her uncle who beamed at her when she finally stopped beside him. "Yes, indeed I did," Vyr said. "What do you say to this?" he asked, pointing at what he and the elders were discussing. A scroll was on the table and in front of Vyr. Nyxoria looked at the scroll briefly and returned her gaze back to her uncle. "I say we kill almost all of them and take the others." She told him. One of the council of elders scoffed at what she said. Nyxoria's eyes narrowed at him. "Uncle, will you miss him if he is gone? I think his seat is hurting his dirty ass." Quickly holding one of Nyxoria's hands and Vyr vigorously shook his head at her. He had once made a mistake when she had uttered those words ten years ago when Elder Rue of the Water clan wolf had spoken of killing her, the following day after her parents tragic death. He had grabbed her hair and was shouting at Vyr and then Nyxoria uttered those words 'Uncle, will you miss him if he is gone? Let me start with this arm' and he and the elders had ignored her thinking it was just mere words until Elder Rue suddenly screamed out in pain. That was then they discovered she had cut off the hands holding her hair from the shoulder. That day and even ten years later Vyr hasn't forgotten. Somehow, Nyxoria always has her sword hidden somewhere in her body and doesn't hesitate to use it. "Don't Nyxoria," Vyr said and faced the elder that spoke, "do you have anything else to say than scoffed Elder Rivar?" He asked. Elder Rivar was a 550 hundred and fifty years old werewolf who governed the Fire wolf clan. "Yes I do, we send them a letter warning them to stop the killings and if they fail to heed to our warnings, we attack." "You are buying them time you know," Nyxoria said before her uncle would speak. "the Bloodfogers would have already had a plan if you sent them the warnings. Like I said killing them and capturing the ones that survived and then torture them and make them reveal who had told them to use the forbidden dark magic of theirs to capture our pups and use them for sacrifice, is the best idea. If you are sending them a letter, it only means one thing, Rivar, you are working with them." When their newborns began to go missing in Alabaster Ward; where the new mothers stays until they healed and are ready to go back to their homes, every full moon five pups go missing even though security was tight, this kept going on and it wasn't until when they came to take another pups for the sixth time that one of the mothers that her new born baby was taken noticed how they look and dressed and when she described them to Vyr and the elders after she told them she saw one of them, they immediately know it was the Bloodforgers. Bloodforgers have the ability to control blood and use them for blood magic and for them to be taking their newborns would mean, they are planning something and only the gods know exactly what they are using their pups for. Rivar glared at her but didn't say a word and none of the Elders said anything. Nyxoria smirked. "Now that I have all your attention, Rivar," she likes calling his name to provoke him. "Since your clan is the strongest I suggest you take some of your wolf warriors and lead them to the cave the Bloodforgers are staying, kill some to show your strength and capture the others for me to torture, they will confess faster to me than to you." "Any objections to what my niece has said?" Vyr asked. The four elders shook their heads at once. "If there are no objections then Elder Rivar you do as Nyxoria had suggested, I mean that's what I would have said too." Vyr said and Elder Rivar glared at both of them, then stood up and bowed to Vyr before leaving. One after the other they left until Vyr and Nyxoria were left alone. "You know they are your seniors, Nyxoria, you accord them with respect." "Then he should act his age uncle and be full of wisdom, how did that brain of his come up with such thoughts?" Vyr sighed, ever since that night ten years ago, Nyxoria had changed and by each day, she was getting worse. Ten years ago, the night that changed everything. Vyr had given the servants instructions to clean up Nyxoria's room and arranged the dead bodies of his late twin brother and his wife. Nyxoria hadn’t woken up until the next morning, the news of what happened to High King Laka and his wife had spread and the elders of council had summoned Vyr and his niece to the throne room. "You killed your parents?" Elder Rivar accused. "I can't remember," Nyxoria mumbled out. "Such an act of yours is death by hanging." Elder Rue stated. "But she has the mark of Obsidian Sigil of Liora." Vyr spoke almost immediately. "So death shouldn't be her punishment and neither should she be punished at all."Chapter 1️⃣0️⃣9️⃣❤️ Threats, Jokes, and Dragon Smiles (2) ❤️Those words coming from the massive dragon wolf made Dika widen her smile so big and so wide that absolutely all of her white teeth were showing clearly. She looked like she might actually hurt her face from smiling so hard. "Did you hear what your wolf dragon just said to me? Did you hear that?" she asked Nyxoria excitedly, turning her entire head to face her friend."Of course I heard it, Dika. I am sitting right next to you," Nyxoria said, rolling her eyes in a playful teasing way. "I would hardly have missed it when the dragon wolf is speaking so loudly right in front of us."Dika's grin somehow grew even bigger and wider if that was possible. "So," she began eagerly, returning her gaze once more to the silent Obsidian who was watching them both with those intelligent eyes. "Are you a male or a female wolf dragon? I need to know this very important information.""By my voice alone you could clearly tell that I am a fema
Chapter 1️⃣0️⃣8️⃣❤️ Threats, Jokes, and Dragon Smiles ❤️"I thought the last fight we fought years ago with Erezhul had made his heart merge with yours already?" Lynn asked in confusion, tilting her head to the side. "I was sure that the merging process was complete back then and that's how you were able to fight him back.""I thought so too at the time, but having been put to sleep for so many years since then has probably made the heart and its powers much more powerful somehow," Myrrak said thoughtfully. "I honestly cannot really explain how I feel right now because it is not your body experiencing it, it is mine. But believe me when I say that the power I am feeling now is so much stronger than how I felt in that battle years ago. It is like comparing a small flame to a massive fire." He added that last part, trying to help her understand."I really hope we win the war that is coming," Lynn said quietly, and there was a hint of worry in her voice."We will win, my love. Do not do
Chapter 1️⃣0️⃣7️⃣❤️ Nasaria Choice (2) ❤️"Look, I know you are extremely upset about your father and what happened to him today," Lady Bana told Nasaria, trying to sound sympathetic. "But trust me when I say this, my masters are coming very soon and they will deal with Nyxoria and all of her cohorts together. They will make her pay for everything she has done.""Oh, so there are even two of them, two whole masters," Nasa said sarcastically, crossing her arms over her chest. "And still yet, none of them came to save my father when he was being sent to the realm of the shadows. Where were they then? Why did they not help him?""That is exactly why we are here now to help you specifically," Lady Bana said, leaning forward. "Join us, Nasaria. You are a strong fighter just like Nyxoria is. And with the special powers that my masters would give you, believe me when I tell you, you will be completely unstoppable. No one will be able to stand against you."Nasaria kept quiet for a long mome
Chapter 1️⃣0️⃣6️⃣❤️ Nasaria Choice ❤️"I know you always have my back no matter what happens," Nyxoria said with a warm smile spreading across her face, which made Dika smile back at her just as warmly. "So tell me about you and Vyrelen. I saw you two getting very touchy with each other and him putting his hand on your waist like he owns you."Dika blushed extremely hard at that observation, and even though her dark skin color would have made it hard for most people to see the blush on her face, it was not hard at all for Nyxoria to see it clearly."It just happens that I cannot control myself when I am around him," Dika admitted, and then she cleared her throat trying to compose herself. "But I am definitely going to tease him a whole lot for what you heard him tell Tharros about love and how he would never fall for anyone in your past life. I am going to make him regret saying those words.""Me too. I am going to tease him so much about it," Nyxoria grinned widely. But then a thoug
Chapter 1️⃣0️⃣5️⃣❤️ Dika Learns the Truth ❤️Meanwhile in the beautiful garden of the castle, dark shadows could be seen twirling and swirling around the comfortable seat that was positioned right in the middle of the garden surrounded by beautiful flowers. And once those shadows finally dispersed and cleared away completely, Nyxoria and Dika were standing right there next to the seat. Both girls immediately sat down next to each other on the seats, getting comfortable. And then Nyxoria began to tell Dika absolutely everything about her past life as Liora and all the terrible mistakes she had made that hurt Tharros so deeply. She didn't hide anything from Dika.Once Nyxoria was finally done explaining everything that had happened in her past life, she noticed that Dika, whose eyes were wide open in complete shock and disbelief, had actually stood up at some point during the story without even realizing it. And now Dika was pacing back and forth from one end of the seat to the other e
Chapter 1️⃣0️⃣4️⃣❤️ The Shadow Beast's Delight ❤️"You can get up now from the floor," Nyxoria said to Daisy, who immediately nodded her head in response and stood up from where she had been kneeling on the cold stone floor."I am sorry once again for everything I did," Daisy said, and this time she directed her apology to Tharros specifically, hoping he would accept it. But Tharros did not even acknowledge her apology at all or give any sign that he had heard her words. His eyes were completely focused on Nyxoria and nobody else in the room.Nyxoria walked over with quick steps and grabbed Dika's hand, pulling her out of Vyrelen's arms with a huge smile spreading across her face. She was clearly excited about something."Let me gist you a very big one. I have so much to tell you," Nyxoria said to Dika, who was also grinning widely from ear to ear. Both of them started walking together toward the large door that led outside the throne room, almost running in their excitement to get s
