Bullied By The Alpha Triplets

Anaya POV

I was trying so hard to stop the tears from dropping down my eyes. I couldn't just move on after his death.

"Goodbye, dad...this is harder than I thought..." I mumbled, those words carrying so much sadness.

The sound of boots rustled in the dry grasses as footsteps, making me remember I wasn't alone in the lonely quiet graveyard.

"Hey Anaya, we should leave now." The voice belonged to Alpha Donald, "I'm waiting in the car."

I quickly wipe off any left tears wetting my eyes. Nodding to that, I said in a whisper. "Yes sir." My father's death had been too devastating for me. He died protecting our pack, Moonstone pack, against our highest rivals.

Alpha Donald was taking me in to live with he and his family, honoring my father's death.

This only meant that I would be sharing the house with my rivals too, more like bullies. Duke, Darius and Dean...three devils created to make my life a living hell.

I was always the weird one in school, and that wasn't just the fact that I was on a sponsored education in the biggest Academy, Moonshine Academy where only the higher ranks could afford. Everyone always assumed I was cursed, just because of the cause of my mother's death. She committed suicide just after having me, which was an ominous sign in the pack.

Worsening it all, I was an omega and now an orphan, making me an easy target for the school bullies. The trio had never for once made me forget my place as the loser in school.

A memory of their recent torture took control of my mind and began to replay in my head.

It had been a slow day and I had been reading.

It happened so suddenly. One minute the book was right there in my hand and the next, it was snatched by someone. This aroused anger inside me that I screamed out. "Hey!"

The trio, Duke, Darius and Dean stood proudly before me. Darius was the more outspoken one of them, tall with brown hair and brown eyes like his dad's. He found the book I'd been reading too funny because he was grinning as he flipped through the pages.

"Easy to dream that a girl like you can get a happy ending like this?" He scoffed. The novel was popular as it had been adapted into a famous movie.

"Give it back. Please." I was forced to say, adding a little toughness to my voice. Of course neither of them seemed bothered a little.

"Your taste in fashion just keeps getting worse by the way, don't you think so, Dean?" Darius pointed out mockingly.

The last of them, Dean, the most quiet one, said nothing and just observed me there with cold stares. His light brown hair almost close to blonde marked him different from the rest of them.

I pretended not to be fazed by their luxurious outfit and acted like my cheap jeans and black top was elegant enough even though it was like trash before their outfit. "Will you just give it back!"

Duke, the most serious of them and maybe the most handsome, leaned forward, his mother's pale brown eyes piercing into mine. "I've found it very insulting that you pick a hobby I like. Reading. Learn to know your place, Ana."

I didn't get it. Why did they just hate me like that! "Give it back." My voice was shivering but I managed to say.

"Or what? Are you going to hurt us with your stupidity and ugliness?" Duke rolled his eyes.

This aroused laughter among them and those in the class as well. It was clear they took so much pleasure in my discomfort.

Darius had his cold gaze fixated on me. "You know, if you had been just a little bit smarter, your whole presence might not be such an embarrassment."

I paused, realizing there was nothing I could do. They were worshiped in school, both boys and girls nearly bowing at their very feet. Their father's influence also gained them special attention even outside of the academy. Plus their good looks was just another blessing on their side.

Dean finally spoke, but nothing kind came out of those lips. "Listen here, Anaya. Never for once forget your place here. You'll always be trash and a bad stain on the pack."

I hurried on to pick my book that was carelessly flung away, and watched as the trio walked out.

I heard Alpha Donald's voice and brought me back to reality.

"Did you hear me? I said we need to leave now." He repeated and I was forced to nod.

"Yes, um...I'm done. I uh...I'm done."

"Come on," he gestured, and I followed behind until we got into the car.

I was grateful for the silence that followed as he drove, but seeing as we had neared the house, I started to get overwhelmed by fear and anxiety. I couldn't help but wonder what the triplet would do realizing I would be living with them now. Or did they already know?

I didn't want to embarrass myself further, so I brushed through my tangled long black hair with my hand and adjusted my black top that was slacking around the neck. When we got down, I was led into the grand living room. "Excuse me for a moment," Alpha Donald said after getting a call, then walked out leaving me alone.

Moments had passed, so I decided to take a brief walk around. This place was a mansion. Everything from the wallcovering to the furniture and appliances looked very expensive. There was a marble fireplace wall, flanked by a pair of facing sofas, and I imagine that would set the scene for fabulous face-to-face time with loved ones. That thought made me smile a bit.

There was a door by the corner that led to a dark room. It looked like just another clean and delicate room but there was the dark aesthetics that created a composed cozy slightly eerie environment.

I took a big step in, then my eyes widened in surprise as I was faced with beautiful arts and particularly was drawn to them as they shared stories that connected deeply at a careful glance. Lost in my admiration for these arts, my calming nerves are disrupted by a deep bold voice.

"Anaya? Wait, what are you doing here!"
