CHAPTER 24: CAFETERIA

REAH'S POV 

"Thanks for helping me there," I said stiffly. Looking at him reminded me of when he was kissing Jessie earlier and my anger grew again. 

 

"Get out," Alpha Xavier growled and walked back to his seat. 

I looked at him, wanting to say more but the immense hatred in his eyes stopped me and I just bowed before turning around to leave. I was about to open the door when he spoke up again~

"And Never in your life should you talk to my guests that way. You don't have that right," He warned coolly. 

I froze, my heart sank and I turned around to look at him. "I understand," I sadly replied and left the office. 

When he helped me, I thought he did that because he at least liked me but who would have known that he just did that to save his face? Maybe we were disturbing him too much and he decided to stop us.

I let out a deep breath as I walked over to my seat and to my surprise, Fryster was no longer there. I just sat down and rested my head on the desk. I was about to relax when I remembered the file Fryster gave me and I sighed deeply. 

He told me to get it signed, I had to get it signed and return it to Fryster. I stood up and did my skirt properly, the last thing I wanted at the moment was to see Alpha Xavier again but I knew this was work and I needed to do it right. 

I calmed my saddened heart and walked toward the door again. I placed my knuckles on it and knocked gently. 

"Come in," He replied. 

Sometimes, I felt like he already knew who it was from the moment they knocked. 

I entered his office, my eyes fixed on his desk as I moved closer to him "Have you signed the file yet, sir?" I asked, not bothering to look at his face. 

He threw the file to the end of the desk "Take it away," I knew it was his way of telling me he had signed it so I just picked it up, bowed and left. 

I returned to my office and sat down again, dropping the file on the desk and closing my eyes. After a while, I heard footsteps moving closer and I opened my eyes only to see that it was Fryster. 

He came over and sat beside me "What did you do? I heard Jessie speaking to her Manager that you interrupted her rehearsal with Alpha," Fryster asked curiously. 

I looked at him with a furrowed brow "Rehearsal?" That was one word that stuck out to my ears and it confused me somehow. 

Fryster nodded. "According to her, she was rehearsing one of the scenes in the script with Alpha when you entered. She said you even insulted her, calling her a slut." 

Really? They were just rehearsing?!

I covered my mouth and gasped. So, he wasn't cheating???

I looked at Fryster, "Alpha Xavier... Does he bring women to his office? Have you ever seen him bring a lady around?" Feeling guilty, I found myself asking Fryster a deep question. 

Fryster seemed confused and he hesitated for a few seconds but probably because he saw the look on my face, he let out a deep breath and moved closer, "Alpha Xavier hates it when women touch him. He always stays away from them and only when acting does he permit them to touch him. I even heard from the earliest secretary that he is still a virgin!" He explained and my eyes widened. 

My cheeks turned red when I heard he was a virgin and the memory of that night came rushing in my head again. The way he grabbed me, stripped me of any clothes and rocked my butt dry. The way he made me moan all night and his dick ravaging my pussy like it was his abode... Was that something a virgin could do?

Wait, While I lost my virginity that night, he lost his too???

My cheeks turned redder and I immediately looked away "Oh..." I muttered, trying my best to make sure Fryster wouldn't see my face at the moment. 

"What's it? Why did you ask?" Fryster seemed to regain his wit as he questioned. 

I looked at him and smiled softly "Nothing, I was just curious," I replied and picked up the book he had given me earlier. 

Frsyter probably noticed that something was wrong and he stared at me for a while before he started working again. 

Soon, He stood up and dropped the phone he was holding "Alpha Xavier just permitted us to eat. Let's go eat," He said to me and my eyes lit up. 

Carrying a baby and starving was a big torment. I didn't even eat before we left home in the morning and I hadn't eaten anything since I got to the office either. I followed Fryster downstairs and together, we walked to the company cafeteria. 

On the way, we met a lot of employees who greeted Fryster respectfully and he even introduced me to some whom I greeted respectfully. 

"Let's sit here," He said after we got to a corner. 

I looked around, realizing people weren't that much around the seat he chose and I felt pleased. I walked over and took a seat. A few seconds later, a man and a woman walked over, took our orders and left. 

Soon, they brought the food to us and we started eating. Needless to say, each food in front of us was a five-star delicacy and it was very delicious. Added to the fact that I hadn't eaten since morning, I ate hungrily and savoured the taste, not even minding the fact that Fryster was in front of me. 

"You indeed have a healthy appetite," Fryster complimented and I chuckled. 

Even when I wasn't pregnant, I always loved to eat much as that was the only way I could muster the strength for my multiple jobs. 

Soon, Some people walked over, two men and three ladies. "Hi!" One of the ladies greeted me excitedly and sat beside me.
