I pressed hard on the gas pedal and the car roared away into the distance. I didn't know where i was going, but certainly not the mansion. I picked up my phone and tried to call Maria to meet up, but decided against it. What if Jason was nearby.?

Then i remembered a club i once followed Jason to for the company's get together. Throughout the whole night, he drank and sang karaoke songs with his female secretary, totally ignoring my presence.

Eluan's head shot up immediately she heard my voice again.

“Skyla.?

She asked and i bit my lips hard that i felt them bleed.

" I'm not Skyla.” I replied in a fake voice hoping she'll leave me alone.

" I know you're Skyla.! She said snatching away the sunshade from my face before I could react.

They burst in a loud mocking laughter. The guy with her was actually the logistics manager at the company.

“What are you doing here by this time of the night.? She asked sarcastically, returning the glasses to me. My heart began to pound frantically in my chest as my mind worked fast for a convincing answer.

" Jason. He told me to wait for him here.” I quickly lied hoping i was convincing enough. She surprisingly nodded and stepped away. " Alright, good luck” she said and stormed out of the club, the manager running after her in confusion. I smirked, was she angry.?

None of my business. Infact seeing her again brought back memories i had wanted to forget, instantly fueling my anger for revenge again.

I headed to the bar and collapsed on a chair. “Give me the strongest alcohol you have here." I ordered. The bartender looked at me surprised. “Ma'am, the strongest drink here is for men. Are you sure you can take it.?" He asked, his eyes seizing me up.

My face darkened. “Is this how you treat customers.? How's it your business if i can't handle it.?! I exploded. Startled, he quickly poured the drink in a glass and handed it to me.

I immediately gulped it and shuddered as it burned my throat. I bit my lips again, trying not to gag. I came here for revenge, i need to remain clear headed. But the alcohol i took soon began to take effect. I rubbed my eyes, temporarily steadying myself.

I picked up my phone and dialed Paul. If i want to take revenge, i want to make sure it hurts just like the way i felt when he fucked Annie.

The phone rang for sometime. “Hey Skyla" his voice came from the other end. “Hi Paul. Are you with Jason.? I quickly asked.

" No, any problem.? He asked.

“No problem. I was just wondering, if we could meet up at a nearby hotel.? I asked, the alcohol suddenly making me brave.

There was silence on the other end. " Skyla what are you talking about.? He replied his voice suddenly husky.

“You know… Jason accused us of fucking each other. Why not just grant him this wish.? I continued.

Longer silence. “Skyla, i like you too. But, I don't want to get involved with you. It'll only put you in grave danger. Where are you now.? He asked.

" Is it because of Jason.? I asked back, ignoring the question about my location.

He sighed deeply on the other end. “Absolutely not. I find you truly attractive, but i can't go such lengths….

I hunged up the phone before he could finish speaking and switched it off. He doesn't wanna do it.? Fine.! I'll find another person.

I returned to my alcohol my eyes roaming around. From a dark corner, my eyes caught a deep pair of green eyes. I quickly looked away, my hear suddenly doing a back flip.

I slowly looked again and still saw that pair of eyes boring a hole into my back. Looking closely, i noticed girls and women of various caliber, go there and leave with a man. Was he a gigolo.? Perfect.!

I paid for my drink and headed towards that prying eyes. “Can you come with me for the night.? I'll pay you." I boldly said. This time, i really saw the the face that owned that pair of eyes. I couldn't help but swallow hard.

His thin lip curled up in a challenging smile as he stood up. “At your service ma'am" he replied in the deep voice.

I stammered, already feeling my panties getting we for this stranger. I hurried to the receptionist and paid for a room.
