Marriage or Training Session

He was too rude, boring, and strict.

I mean all the time murmuring don't touch this, don't touch that. I hate him even more now. Who has such habits like army man??

I was really mad at listening to his instructions. It felt like I didn't marry him instead I signed for a training session.

But after he slept I lie down but now I started getting hungry. I haven't eaten much in the evening and now I couldn't sleep. The worst part was I had no idea about his house and kitchen. Now, what should I do?

I was thinking of sleeping but couldn't in that situation. I had no option but to ask him to get me something to eat.

I looked at him and he was sleeping. His legs were long and his feet were down from the couch. He was a heightened person and that couch wasn't fit for him.

Anyhow, I was concerned about food first. So, I got up switched on the lights, and went closer to him. Because he didn't respond when I called him.

"Dhruv..... Dhruv... Wake up.."

I patted him on his shoulder but he was still closing his eyes. I shook him and he wasn't opening his eyes.

"Dhruv... Wake up please."

I noticed a smile on his face. So, he was awakening and was pretending to sleep. I looked around and saw the water. I filled the glass with water and gave him the last chance to get up.

"Dhruv... Get up now. I know you are awakening. Get up... I am gonna spill this water on you."

Still no response. So I splashed water from the glass on his face and he got up immediately with so much anger.

"What the hell??? Are you out of your mind?? Are you mad?? What did you do??"

"I warned you to get up but you weren't listening."

"So, this is how you try to wake up people?? You are a freak. "

"Yeah, I know that. Please, I am hungry. Get me something to eat."

"Oh really??? Why are you expecting this from me?? I am not your servant... I am not going anywhere. Now, go to sleep. I have to go to the office tomorrow and you disturbed me from my sleep."

"Okay. Then don't expect me to pretend to be a good couple. I will tell your parents that you didn't bring me food last night and everything about the divorce too."

"Now, you are blackmailing me?? I am not afraid of your threats."

He lie down again and I went back to the bed.

"Okay, as you wish. Don't say that I didn't warn you."

I was lying and was thinking of what to do if he didn't get up. I was planning to go out and search for the kitchen. I will find out. 

But before I acted on my plan he got up gave me a death stare and went out. I was smiling now. So, I got succeeded.

I could use this in the future too. I was smiling because the night didn't go as I expected and that was relieving.

He was back after some time and was holding a tray and it had food and so many items including dessert. I mean I was happy with just one dish but there were multiple dishes to eat. Rice and even fresh wheat bread.

"This is hot. You made it fresh this Time of the night??"

"you wish. It was our maid. Now eat and don't disturb me. And listen I brought you food because you are in my house and a guest so I didn't want to disrespect you. Don't assume anything else."

He went to the changing room.

I was thinking of his sleep so I went to sit on the couch placed the food on the table and started eating.

He was back after a while and his shirt was changed.

"there was just a little water on it. Why did you change it??"

He didn't answer that

"What are you doing here?? Go back to the bed. I have to sleep."

"This bed is too big. I couldn't sleep there. Actually, the bed in my house is small like this couch and I can't sleep without my bed. So, I have decided I will sleep here and you will sleep in a bed."

"No, I am gonna sleep here and that's final."

"Carry on if you want to argue while night. I can argue the whole night. But I am not gonna sleep in a bed. "

He looked up 

" god, what have you done to my life."

He was making so crying face and then went to sleep on a bed and immediately after eating I switched off the lights and slept. I was actually comfortable on the couch..He slept after a while and I heard him snoring and I started smiling.

I was murmuring

"All day he was behaving so calm and composed and organized person and now listen to him snoring like a truck."

I was laughing silently and then I slept again.

The next morning I got up when he called me.

"Selena. Get up."

I was hearing a knock on the door too.

"What the hell?? Let me sleep."

I then realized that I wasn't at my home. I turned around and there he was getting ready for office.

"Why are you awakening me?? Is there any tradition in your family that wife would follow In the morning before sending the husband to the office??"

"Shut up. It's Mom on the door..now go and sleep on the bed. She would know."

"Okay."

I was too tired and closed my eyes and slept again and then I couldn't believe that he picked me up in his arms and threw me on the bed.

"Stupid Girl. Now sleep."

I was about to say a lot to him but the door was knocking again and again. He went to open the door and I slept by then.

I woke up when he called me again.

"Selena wakes up. Everyone is expecting us at the breakfast table and your Mom is going to be here soon. Come on Get ready."

I opened my eyes and there he was wearing an informal dress. A 'kurta,pajama.
