Next morninig, after taking care of all necessary documents in the office, I decided to go visit the woman I left at the hospital the previous day. I have to listen to her own side of story, if she was still with Beta Michael or not I have to know, if I will keep her by my side or not, I have to know that too.

Minutes later, I starred my car into the car park of the hospital. As usual, nurses and the ladies at the reception ogle at my beauty and of course try to steer clear from where I was.

Getting intpo her ward, I met Dr Leo and a nurse with her, the nurse was clearing the plates she just eat with and Dr Leo checking her pulse.

Upon seeing me, Dr Leo quickly bowed, “Good morning My King”

“How is her health?” I asked as I eyed her but she wasn’t looking my way, instead she was facing the other side and looking out of the window.

“She’s now fine, but will need a lot of rest, her wound seems little but her body seems to weak to heal quickly” The doctor reported and I nod at his explaniation.

“Good Job Dr Leo”

“Thanks, Lycan.”

“I need to have a word with her. You can leave.” I said to Dr Leo who bowed and exited the room.

After a few seconds, Dr Leo and his nurse were done with her leaving us alone in the room. By now, it was clear that she wanted to avoid my gaze which only made Theo growl.

‘I am dying to have this woman’s pussy on my dick and she was here dying to avoid my gaze’ Theo said making me smile.

I walked closer to her, waiting for her to talk, but when she didn’t, I cleared my throat, “How do you feel now?”

“You should have let me die.” She sniffled. “You should have just left me in the woods or in throw me in the water when I fainted. The pain in my heart is killing me I don’t think I can survive this”

Looking at her sad like this and saying such painful words made my heart clench with anger. Theo also shook vigorously displaying his displeasure at her current mood. Without taking a second look at her, I could tell that she was in pain of heartbreak and betrayal.

Folding my arms to my chest with a deep frown, I inquired.

“Who did this to you? What has that Bastard Michael done to you?”

She turned to me, her eyes were red and puffy and I could see pure agony of betrayal in them.

“Why do you care?” She asked.

“You don’t have to be scared of anything, I won’t have asked you but seeing you like this make me want to tear the beast who made you sad apart. Now tell me, what happened at Redmoon pack?”

Her eyes softened at my words and she looked away.

“I don’t want to talk about it.”

She was trying to conceal her problems but a part of me hate seeing her like this. I felt a twist in my stomach and Theo seems to be sad too. She was our mate, but she doesn’t know that seeing her sad makes us sad too. A woman leaving her matrimonial home on her wedding anniversary surely have a deep reason.

I got closer and stood at her bedside. “Seeing you like this makes my heart ache. I don’t want to feel like this for a strange woman but seeing you like this, hurts me in my chest. Trust me, there is no better way to let out your frustrations than than to confide in someone.”

She rolled her eyes. “Why did my sadness hurt your chest? Aren’t you the cursed Lycan who never feels emotions?”

“That may be the case for others but with you, I feel different, Have a little faith in me, you are in safe hands”

She stared at me, not saying a word

“Tell me, What has that bastard done to you!?”I asked.

At first, she hesitated by keeping mute but at once, she burst into sobs and buried her face in her palms.

Speechless, I watched her cry. Deep down, my heart also bleeds.

I wanted to stop her so that I can also feel alright but she wanted her to pour out her emotions and I feel that crying might help accomplish that.

“I lost it, I have lost it all.” She finally spoke out, raising her head.

I frowned with confusion “Lost what?”

She sniffed, not looking at me. “My heart, My kidney, My body, I gave it out for love but I got divorce papers as a reward”

I didn’t fully understand her but said nothing and watched her.

“We were in love, but when I was told that I would be marrying a man through an arranged marriage but when it turned out to be him whom I loved, I felt that luck was on my side not until after two years of marriage that he had kidney problems, Maybe you heard about it we bid a lot of money but no one was ready to give their kidney to him. But…. But I was desperate to see my man back on his feet so I gave him my left kidney. It was that day that he told me that he felt his mate near at it turned out to be my stepsister” Anger radiated through me as she narrated her ordeal and cried in the process.

‘That bastard dares to do this to our mate, he deserves to be hung to death’ Theo was also angered.

“I was a fool, I gave my kidney to a beta who was not my mate” She sobbed making my heart ache the more.

The pain was inevitable, since I was feeling this way for her, now I have a new goal! That bummer must return the kidney he collected at all costs. I have to help her accomplish her revenge if that is what she wanted.

I touched her shoulder and she looked up at me, a surprised look on her face. “can you now see that I should be thrown into the water?”

I growled, “As long as I live and remain the king of Regal Pack and by far the most powerful and richest Lycan in the world, I promise to take that kidney from him and give you back. I promise to make that bummer come back to beg you on his knees I vow.” Her eyes widened in shock, our gaze not leaving each other.

‘Pyrrhus are you out of your mind? We are sending her away!’ Theo complained but I made no reply to his protest, I only looked at the precious woman before me in the eye. This is when I realized that she had one of the most very beautiful gazes in the world.

‘Pyrrhus stop looking at her, I might jump on her’ Theo growled again trying to control himself.

The hypnotic eye contact reached a certain crescendo, she broke it and looked away. “No!” she said suddenly snapping me back to reality.

I furrowed my brows, “What did you mean?”

“I want no revenge on Michael. I was the foolish one who gave him my kidney, I was the foolish one who wanted him to mark me when I was not him mate” Hearing her support him like this made the anger inside of me grow even more yonder.

“Michael loved me. I am sure he was swayed by the effect of the mate pull. He wanted me to leave, I don’t have the right to take any revenge on him Lycan” She said finally and looked at me again.

I was stunned by her words, they were firm and assuring. This only made me more infuriated at her crazy obsession for the man.

“Why wont you want revenge? He took your damn Kidney and here you are saying he loved you?” I found myself asking, my eyes unable to let go of her.

‘Like she said, she’s really stupid’ Theo growled and of course, she was so stupid.

She looked away again. It was clear that she was having doubts and finding it hard to come up with a reasonable submission. “I don’t want him to get punished yet. He’s just recovering, I can’t take the life I give him, no I am not heartless like him” She said strongly again looking all determined.

“I hate the moon goddess for giving me such a foolish mate as you!” I voiced even though I have vowed not to tell her.
