Zora and Trent had returned to the Nightfall Pack. Instantly, Trent sent two spies to Goldcrest. He didn't want to waste time delaying the attack. Since Zora's parents were already feeling better, staying in the hospital wouldn't help—there was nothing left to take from them.

Before leaving Silverbrook, Trent had made arrangements with Henry to get a place for them to stay until they returned to their pack. The attack would be in two days, once Zora's parents arrived and Zora's father could join them in the fight.

Zora and Trent were in the small room beside the training arena.

Zora ran her fingers over the weapons laid out, testing their weight one by one. Trent had trained her for a week, and she was handling them well.

"Wolfsbane, silver blade, and antidote—they should be in one place," Trent said as he gathered the materials and set them in front of her.

"Everything stays with you," he added.

"Why?"

"Because you are a woman, and women keep things." He scratched the back of his hea

"She is leaving him!" Zeta muttered under his breath. His heart shattered into thousands of pieces as betrayal hit him. He stood up from the chair with newly built fury and ran out of his chamber.A sinister grin crept across Clain's swollen lips. He knew Zeta wouldn't hesitate to beat the hell out of his wife—it wouldn't be the first time he would do that. He did it occasionally whenever Lydia stepped on his toes. They had become a laughingstock in the pack.Clain stood up, pain aching through his back, and leaped out of the palace. He wondered if he could do anything that night. Instead of going back to his post and checking on the warriors and guards on duty, he retreated home to get treated by his wife.He had gotten the revenge he deserved.***Zeta kicked the door open so hard it slammed against the wall, making Lydia flinch. He stormed straight to the corner where she kept her jewelry and makeup. Those things—her only escape, her only comfort—he knew she couldn’t live without t

“All the Rogues that attacked nightfall dead,” the warrior said, his body began shaking violently.Rage consumed Zeta like wildfire as the warrior's words echoed in his ears. His massive frame trembled with barely contained fury as he gripped the hand of the chair he was sitting The warrior who had delivered the news, stood rigid against the wall, sweat beading on his forehead despite the chamber's chill."You disobeyed me," Zeta's voice was a low growl that seemed to vibrate from the depths of hell itself. "I gave explicit orders. You should to lead the attack.""Alpha, I can explain—" the warrior said, bending his back to show respect. The words died in Clain's throat as Zeta's boot connected with his ribs making his bone crack. Clain flew backward, slamming into the stone wall with a thud."Explain?" Zeta roared, spit flying from his lips as his eyes blazed amber with wolf fury. "A pathetic loser!" He cursed. Clain struggled to his feet, one hand pressed against his side wher

As they arrived at the outskirts of Goldcrest, Alpha Diva couldn't suppress the tears that gathered in his eyes. A decade of neglect stretched before them—crumbling roads, abandoned infrastructure, and the hollow silence of a pack left to decay. When he'd been Alpha, he'd brought constant development and growth to his people. Now, seeing the desolation even in the dim moonlight, he could only imagine how much worse it looked in broad daylight. He wiped his eyes and gathered his composure. "Warriors, take positions," he commanded quietly. "Remember—no unnecessary noise. Zeta's enhanced hearing can detect whispers from a hundred yards."Trent stayed close to Zora and her father, knowing she was Zeta's primary target. His protective instincts warred with his respect for her capabilities, but tonight, keeping her alive took precedence over everything else.Following Alpha Diva's directions, Brandon led a strike team through a hidden tunnel system that connected to the pack's underground

They stayed at the northern border to prepare for their journey to the Goldcrest pack. Every border in the nightfall pack had a house where warriors lived and exchanged duties—small but well-fortified structures that served as both shelter and strategic outposts. The border house buzzed with quiet activity as weapons were checked, strategies reviewed, and final preparations made. Trent's warriors moved with efficiency, their faces grim but determined. They all knew this wasn't just another battle—this was the fight that would determine the future of their pack and their Luna's safety. As evening fell, painting the sky in shades of crimson and gold, they began their journey to Goldcrest. The timing had been calculated perfectly—every step, every mile measured against the clock that would determine their success or failure. They would arrive at twelve in the morning, when Zeta's forces would be at their weakest, caught between the night watch and the dawn patrol. It was the perfect wind

The massive brown wolf shifted a few meters away from them and disappeared behind a tree. Moments later, Zora's father emerged, pulling on his clothes with swift, practiced movements. His presence was commanding—taller and broader than Trent remembered, with silver threading through his dark hair and eyes that held both wisdom and fierce determination.Trent quickly threw him a cloth to change into. He closed the gap between them, and Zora threw her arms around his neck in a tight embrace. "Papa, I was so worried about you. How was your journey? I've been busy with training—that's why I didn't come to meet you," she mumbled. Trent's eyes locked with hers, and a smirk twitched at his lips. "My little star," her father murmured, holding her close before pulling back to study her face. "They really took care of you. I knew you were busy. I hope you didn't overtrain yourself." Alpha Diva's gaze fell to the ground, where he saw bodies littering the earth. Zora quickly explained who h

  • CONTRACTED TO THE BEAST ALPHA   Chapter 87

The pack warriors raised their weapons instantly, their fighting taking over. Silver blades flew through the air with deadly precision but they were aimed at the approaching wolves.Everyone in the pack had forgotten that their alpha was a wolf. He hadn't shifted in close to two decades, and most of the newly recruited warriors who joined after he became half vampire and half werewolf had no knowledge of what his wolf looked like. And this was Zora's first time shifting in the pack. The giant black wolf's eyes blazed as he saw the silver blades hurtling toward them. With inhuman speed, Trent's wolf leaped forward and caught three of the deadly projectiles in his massive jaws, the metal clanging against his fangs. Another blade whistled past his ear as he twisted mid-air.‘STOP! It's your Alpha!’ Trent's furious mindlink exploded through every warrior's consciousness, his mental roar so powerful that several of them stumbled. The remaining blades clattered to the ground as hands went s
