CHAPTER 24

Evelyn who was heartbroken and depressed took her phone and dialed a number

After a ring it got connected and she said,

"Lee have you done any of those things I requested for?"

"Just one, that is, transferring the company to your real name" Lee replied calmly

"How about my leaving this godforsaken town any progress yet?"

"Still on it" Lee said

"You are so slow Lee"

"What? So slow? If you think you can do it any faster then get it done or better yet why not ask your boyfriend to do it for you instead" Lee said angrily

"Enough from you Lee, I've had enough of this, just get on with it, I can't stay here anymore" Evelyn said with tears trickling down her cheeks.
