Chapter Thirty-Six

  She hadn’t slept a wink.

  It was almost impossible to close her eyes the entire night, even less find any sort of sleep. She supposed it was all due to the excitement from what was to come.

  Cassandra stared back at her reflection in the bathroom, after she had had a very long bath. Possibilities swirled in her head endlessly, and the more she thought about what was to come, the more agitated and apprehensive she grew. It was o much easier to agree to something when the idea first came to you, but the longer you spent, thinking about it, the more negative scenarios you were able to build up. She was determined to not let those negative thoughts veer her away from what was most important though. She was also confident in the people she loved, that no matter the outcome, they would help her through it, as they had the last few months.
