Jade Smith's Point of View:
After the whole charade with Christy, I made my breakfast which consisted of toast and bacon with my favorite chocolate tea. After eating I cleaned up all the crumbs from my face and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth again. I looked to the mirror and made sure I looked presentable for work, I didn't want to look like a mess.
Walking out of the bathroom I headed straight for Christy's room, without knocking I walked in to find her reading a magazine. She looked up to me with a devilish smile on her face. I swear she was always up to no good. I sometimes felt like an overprotective sister or mom.
I already knew that the only reason why she was reading the magazine was because of the half-naked men in there. Ignoring her reading I ruffled her already messy hair a little. She hated when I did that which only made me do it more. It brought me the greatest joy in the world to annoy her.
"I'm leaving now," I said to her.
"I'll see you later," she replied turning her attention back to the magazine. Wow, I feel the love.
Rolling my eyes I exited the room and went back into the kitchen to take up my bag. Humming softly to myself I stepped through the front door closing it behind me. I quickly walked over to my car and got in. I ain't rich but I'm not entirely poor either. You could say I'm just making my way through life. I started this new job about three months ago and I've been loving it so far.
After fifteen minutes of being on the road, I pulled up to the restaurant that I've been working in ever since I moved here with Christy. The restaurant is a famous one called 'Cynthia' and it's owned by some billionaire. I've never met the man though because he wasn't the one to interview me. I didn't expect him to either, a man of his caliber didn't have time for little ole me.
Stepping out of the vehicle I took up my bag and went into the restaurant. I walked straight to the side door that led to the backroom. I greeted the other waitresses and waiters there with a small smile. I haven't been here long so I'm not the best of friends with anyone here yet. Walking straight to the lockers I slowly put in my combination code. One of the things I loved about working here was the level of security I had with my things.
I swear this makes me feel like I'm in high school again.
After putting it in my bag I grabbed my apron and tied it around my waist. Closing the door I walked to the front picking up a new pen and small notepad. That's another one of the many things I love about working here. A fresh notepad and pen were waiting for me every day.
With a sigh, I started my rounds going around serving customers. I was just serving an iced tea to a young couple when the restaurant door opened to reveal a very handsome young man. He was enchanting with his dark hark and sensual brown eyes. I was getting hot just looking at him.
"Thank you," the young woman said offering me a smile.
I turned back to face her blushing slightly not knowing why. Maybe it's because she almost saw me ogling a customer. Get it together Jade.
"Your very welcome," I replied turning around to sit on one of the chairs to the side.
The thing with 'Cynthia's' is that they allow the waiters and waitresses to sit on chairs to the side so that we can see all who enter the restaurant and who needs to be served. Right now sitting here I couldn't help but stare at the mystery man that entered the room a while ago. He was just sitting there but I felt all sorts of shy being in his presence.
He was just typing away at his phone without a care in the world yet he still managed to look intimidating. I noticed that no one made a move towards him and so I decided that I should probably take his order. Taking a deep breath I stood up and walked over to his table. I don't even know why I chose to do this, I should have let someone else serve him but I was feeling bold today.
I awkwardly cleared my throat to get his attention. He looked up at me and I could have sworn that my heart skipped a beat. A soft gasp escaped my lips as I calmed my wayward thoughts. He was beautiful.
"G-good morning," I stuttered cursing under my breath. I never stutter. This man was turning me into a blubbering fool.
"What would you like to order?" I asked in a more composed voice. I refused to be shaken by him.
I stood there feeling even more awkward and nervous than I already did. The feeling was short-lived when he spoke his voice was husky and masculine, it sent shivers down my spine. He could talk to me all day and I wouldn't mind.
"I'm fine," he said "but thank you for asking"
"Just let one of the staff know when you're ready," I told him walking away in a daze.
I can't believe what just happened. How can I be so affected by him with just a few words? I looked back at him to find him staring right back at me. Shit. I wasn't expecting to see him looking at me. I tore my eyes away from him and looked down.
Quickly turning around I speed walked to the back room. I had no idea what just happened but it was so weird and shocking, to say the least. I thought back to how his eyes and traveled the length of my body in one quick scoop and how I wished he would do it again. This man had me so flustered it wasn't even funny.
What the hell just happened?
Jade Smith's Point of View:After a long day at work, it was finally time for me to go home. For the entire day, I had been thinking about the mysterious man that had entered the restaurant. He stayed for at least an hour doing only God knows what. I'm embarrassed to even admit that I was watching him the entire time. It's like I couldn't pull my eyes away. That's how enthralled I was by his aura. He was also so very attractive to me which was a first. I don't have anything against white men but I've never been so attracted to one before in my life. I've always dated persons of my race but I found myself wanting to get to know him and his body as well. My face grew red at the thought but thankfully the darkness of my skin hid my blush.I didn't try to take his order again but I would often look over at him to find him staring right back at me and like the innocent girl that I am, I would resort to blushing and avoid going anywhere near him because of the embarrassment that I felt from
Jade Smith's Point of View:"Jade are you ready yet?" Christy shouted at me from across the hall."In a minute!" I shouted back taking one last look in the full-length mirror.I was in my room getting ready for our night out. I looked at myself in the mirror turning from side to side. I looked quite beautiful and sexy if I should say so myself. I'm not really a fan of short clothing but at times like these, I can make an exception. I preferred to wear comfy clothes but I don't think Christy would be happy if I wore a sweatsuit and converse to the club. She would catch a fit if I did.Stepping out of my room I walked down the stairs to come face to face with Christy. She was looking sexy in a maroon off-the-shoulder dress that stopped mid-thigh. The dress accentuated her curves and really stood out against her skin.I was wearing a plaid shirt dress with a diamond choker around my neck and black booties with four-inch heels. I had on simple make-up with bold red lips. I let my hair loo
Jade Smith's Point of View: I'm not really the type of woman that loves to go clubbing. As a matter of fact, I can count how many times I've been to a club while I'm sure many of the women that I'm seeing right now have been to clubs so often that they've lost count. The smell of alcohol hit me as I took a deep breath. Most everyone looks drunk already, I knew Fridays were a big club day but damn. Gosh, the club hasn't even been open for an hour yet! I really don't want to be here so I'm just going to follow Christy's lead for now. Glancing at Christy I noticed that she had her eyes fixed over to a booth in the corner. From this distance, it seemed vacant and quite clean, much to my relief. It seemed as if that's where she wanted to go and I was thankful for it. "Let's go over to that booth," Christy suggested pointing to the said booth. Thank you, Lord, for being on my side today. I was hoping she'd say that. "Oh yeah sure," I followed behind her, all the way trying to avoid the
Jade Smith's Point of View:Yup, I'm definitely gonna chicken out of this. What the hell am I going to do now? I can't chase him out. He made me feel things that I've never felt before and it's damn scary as hell. I turned away to leave trying to tiptoe my way through the crowd. Luck just wasn't on my side when I felt a tug on my arm."Hi," he said his husky voice bringing goosebumps on my skin. He must be a Greek God with how easily he affected me.I turned to face him careful not to look into his captivating eyes, "h-hey""Is this your seat?" he asked nodding his head to the booth."Yeah it is," I rushed out "but you can have it"Now, why did I say that? Of course, I wanted the damn seat our bags were still in there but no I just had to turn into a blubbering mess. If Christy saw me now she would be convinced that I lost it hell even I thought I lost it. I was convinced that he would listen to me but he did quite the opposite. I didn't know if I was happy or sad but I didn't exactly
Jade Smith's Point of View:I reluctantly pulled away from him when I realized just what I was doing. I've never been one to act on impulse but I did just now and I don't know what to think.Oh my gosh.I was just kissing my boss. My sexy and overly attractive boss. Crap! Stop it, Jade! You can't be thinking like this. He's your boss for crying out loud. But he's so damn good-looking. Shit, I shouldn't even be going there. How the hell did I let that happen? I rolled my eyes at that thought. I knew why I let it happen. I was insanely attracted to him.I looked at Nathan to find that he was already looking at me with a small smile on hi
Jade Smith's Point of View:'I'm so fancy but you already know, I'm in the fast lane from LA to Tokyo....'I jumped out of bed slapping a hand on my alarm. I ran a hand through my messy hair and sighed in content. Last night was one of the best nights of my life. Nathan and I danced for a while until it started getting a little too heated for us to handle. We exchanged numbers and Christy and I left after that. Christy and Joseph hit it off pretty well too from what I could see. She was smiling from ear to ear when we left.Speaking of Christy, where the hell is she? She normally barges into my room on a Saturday morning. She's probably still asleep, shrugging I got up and made my bed. When living with my parents I had to make my bed ev
Jade Smith's Point of View:"What are you guys doing here?"Nathan looked at me confused at my statement, "didn't I just tell you that we're going on that date now?""Um oh yes right," I rambled "oh please come in"Christy and I stepped aside to allow them to step in. I quickly grabbed the bat and set it up against the wall so as not to draw any attention to it. When Christy told me that she didn't invite anyone over I thought that it was my past that came knocking on the door but thankfully it was just Nathan and Joseph. I could only stare at their retreating forms, as they walked further into the room."You didn't tell me that they w
Jade Smith's Point of View:"So where exactly are we going?"I glanced at Christy with a small smile on my face. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have realized that I didn't know where we were going. Nathan really had that dazzling effect on me."Yeah, where are we going?" I asked turning to face Nathan so that he could answer me.Nathan grinned as he took my bag from my hands "we're going to the beach duh"Rolling my eyes I tried taking my bag back from him but he wouldn't have it, mumbling about how I should let him be a gentleman. He pulled the straps of the bag on his back and turned away from me.
