Chapter 51 Don't You Dare

Lucky's POV

I glanced at my wristwatch. It's already 7 PM and Damien hasn't come back. He texted me at 6 PM that he just needed to go to his condo to get some clothes and now, he's not replying to my texts. Before the clock hit 7 PM, I called him. He actually answered and said he's coming but his phone is now turned off.

I held my breath and shook my head. I'm worried.

Glancing at my phone, I caressed my chest and sat on the couch.

Left with no choice, I prepared myself to leave. I'll go to his condo.

I grabbed my shoulder bag and got out of my apartment. I called a taxi and told the address of Damien's condo unit. He told me his condo unit and passcode last time. I'm glad he did.

While walking along the hallway of his floor, I couldn't deny the loud beating of my heart.
