It took a while, but I finally calmed myself enough that I could go confront them about Alayasia’s whereabouts.     ~Shiloh~I step back in horror and conflict. My heart was in my throat when I thought that Houston was gone. I was grieving for the man I had wanted all my life. Houston is determined to protect his family, and the Elder is lost. The air becomes still, and silence envelopes the room. It is broken by the sinister laugh that slips from Geoffroy’s lips.
