Chapter 21

It had been a simple plan. Go back to the room with Lisa and have fun, or at the very least forget a certain someone.

That plan was one Nathan hadn’t thought about properly. Even as they two wandered in the dark as he tried the light switch he knew he was making a mistake.

When he finally found it at the far end of the wall he was ready to get rid of Lisa. But the alcohol had a strong hold on him that he wasn’t strong enough to escape.

“Nice room you have here,” Lisa said, making her way to the window and sighing when she saw it had the perfect view to the ocean. “It’s definitely bigger than mine by a double.”

Nathan nodded absentmindedly as he stared at her, wishing it was Jane standing there instead. He didn’t understand exactly what it was about her that drew him in.

The image of Jane holding onto those strong male hands flew back into his head and he cussed out not even realizing he had said it out loud. Heck if Jane was going to have company this night then he had every right to.
