With unsteady steps Lauren bound up the stairs of her home, her face downcast and troubled, she had a feeling something was wrong but she didn’t know what it was. The sun was too bright, hammering down on her already aching head. Lauren rubbed her eyes but remained in bed. She didn’t want to face her reality too soon plus she was having a mad hangover. Damien was still lost in his own world, welcoming the pain that the drink the day before has brought him. he rolled over in his bed, laying an arm across to his eyes to shield it from the sun. It was beginning to be a normal thing for Lauren to wake up in the morning, disoriented and with a headache. She fumbled around in the bed, patting the other side of the bed but it was empty. Damien stood up with great difficulty as the smoke began to clear, letting him see the damage that was done to his home.
