Funeral

Today was the day for her mother’s funeral, and she was in no state to attend to the guests. Although her father was slightly angered at her due to it, she was glad that he did not push the matter further.

Earlier Lee Youngjae and Min Jisoo had arrived— not at the same time— and said couple of things to her. But none of those words were properly able to go through her mind.

She had no clue on what they have said.

What she appreciated about this moment the most was how Ryu Yejoon was beside her throughout the entire time.

Although he did not say anything, his soft pats at times and his presence right then was enough to feel at ease.

It was good to have one person who at least cared about her even though it was barely much.

Moreover, she was grateful towards the man for driving Lee Youngjae away for her and not attending to Min Jisoo even after she had clearly tried to call for him.
