VOL 2 : FORTY TWO : MATHEWS'S CAPTIVE

JANNET’S POV

The wolves ran straight at the gate and crashed with it, but the gate didn’t move an inch. Instead, the wolves were shot with electricity by touching the gate and all of them fell to the ground. Woah!

More wolves stepped out of the forest and stopped when they saw the wolves getting shocked by touching the gates. They couldn’t come forward since they would be hit by the electricity too. Some of them aimed for a long jump, but the spines on the gate morphed to round heads and shot a red light at them.

The red light was lethal enough to burn them to the ground. I was stunned by all of this since I had no idea that the Alpha’s mansion was equipped with these kinds of weapons. The man was a genius.

Most of the wolves did not dare to jump or move ahead, concerned about getting killed. But a man walked out of the forest in a brown suit and black trousers. He had a mustache and I wondered if he was Castiel. When I entered his mansion with Sky, which I realized to be the earlier
