Eight Run

As the light dimmed and their shadows cast inside the pharmacy, Liam looked out, and that's when he realized it was getting dark. His nervousness now is worse than the nervousness he felt when he was still in the personnel room of the store where he worked. Even though he had someone with him now, he couldn't help but be nervous. It's not because of the company he's with that he's nervous; it's not because he's changing, but because of himself. He didn't know if he could control himself.

Liam just nodded and then looked at the supplies he and Brandon had gathered.

"If it's true what you said that they can see in the dark, then I think it's okay that we stay here tonight. It's too dangerous out here in the dark," Liam said, nodding his head in appreciation.

Brandon leaned on the pharmacy shelf with his arms crossed, studying Liam with his casual smile. "Sounds like a plan. Safety first, right?"
