AFTER what happened at William's house, it was immediately overshadowed by another news. The whole world immediately became noisy with the news released by the government.

"Currently, what the government has announced is talk. We know that the government has given a huge amount of money for a huge project and support for Baoye's harmaceutical Corporation where it is said that they are making an immune boosting drug. The government said that the drugs that will boost your immunity are currently a hundred percent successful. Two people tested are now immune to any kind of virus. The government has stated that the first dose and mass vaccine will be distributed at Rowan Village. Please stay tuned, we will be back!"

"Huh? Aren't they afraid of that?" asked William's Manager.

William and his Manager Lukas are currently working.

"Isn't your brother one of the staff of Baoye's Pharmaceutical Corporation?" Manager Lukas asked.

William nodded. "Yeah, as far as I know, he's not part of the corporation's inner circle," William said immediately.

William will not ruin his sister's reputation. William will do his best to protect his sibling's reputation.

"Oh, isn't it?" Lukas immediately reacted. "Anyway, I don't really have a good feeling about that medicine. I hope they don't make it compulsory," he added.

William looked up at the television inside the Happy Convinience Store and then sighed. He didn't know how he would react to the news because he heard that the government was still looking for Liesa.

"I don't know if I should be scared or excited about this new drug."

"If we can be given a good reason to inject that why not?"

"I won't pierce that no matter what. We'll just die together."

The people of the town expressed various opinions in their respective interviews about the new drugs released by Baoye's Pharmaceutical Corporation and even though its backer is the government, if people are afraid they can't do anything.

"Will it be safe?" William asked himself.

"Whether it's safe or not, it's quite intriguing," a man said, and put some food on the counter.

William looked at the person in front of him and he immediately looked away. That man is his type.

Right, William likes men. He knew it since he was a child and he had already admitted it to his siblings. He was quite worried before, but he realized that he worried for nothing.

"It's two hundred and seventy-nine," William said after he punched the barcode.

"Here," the man said, and put the three hundred bills on the counter. "Aren't you scared that something might happen because of that drug?" The man asked.

William looked at the man. "It's the government's responsibility. But I hope they won't ignore the plea of the people who refuse."

The man nods his head. "Right," he said, "Not everyone wants to inject a liquid they don't know where it came from," he added.

William looked at the man because he felt that there was something different about what he said. William just nodded.

"Yeah," William commented. "Thank you for purchasing," he added.

The man left, and William sighed. She didn't know how much longer she could keep talking to such men as if they didn't exist.

"That man looks so fine. He's handsome and has a muscle," William said to his mind. He shook his head. "No, focus on your work, William. Don't flirt!"

"Are you okay?" Manager Lukas asked when he saw William shook his head.

"Ah, yeah."

Manager Lukas immediately grinned when he realized what had happened. "Was that man your type?" he asked and smiled mischievously.

William looked away and immediately blushed. "Sir, please, don't tease me."

Manager Lukas burst out laughing. "William, don't worry. I'm not homophobic. Also, I guess that man is really good. I mean, he's handsome. But of course, I'm more handsome."

William laughed weakly because he already knew his Manager's behavior. Lukas only accidentally found out that William was gay and because of that they became close. Lukas' brother is also gay, which is why he doesn't care what William's sexual preferences are.

THREE days later when the government announced about the vaccine, they immediately withdrew it. They said that the vaccine needs more research because of the reactions of some to the medicine. Because of that, it immediately created panic, especially among people who have relatives in Rowan Village.

There were also some who rallied because they were not allowed to enter the boundary of Rowan Village and they did not receive any news about their family. Because of that, the whole country is even more confused.

"You better be careful on your way to your job, William," Natasha immediately reminded as she put on her shoes.

"You too, sis," William immediately reminded him.

Natasha sighed. "I called Jarvis last night and told him not to join the rallies. We should be careful or else we will join the rally without our knowledge. The government has thin patience right now, the rallyists are becoming more and more aggressive," Natasha added.

"I know, sis. You should be more careful because you'll just be walking to your interview," William warned.

Natasha nodded and then said goodbye to William. William held his chest because of the strange feeling he was feeling. He felt that something bad was going to happen. Even so, William ignored it.

William walks towards the Happy Convenience Store. When he arrived, he immediately greeted his manager. "Good morning, Manager Lukas."

Lukas turned around and smiled at William. "Oh, good morning, William. Come here, look at my baby's chubby face," he said as he waved his hand, telling William to come closer.

Lukas was just married a year ago, and three days ago, his wife gave birth to a cute baby boy. William saw the baby's face from Lukas' lock screen.

"Wow, he's so cute!" William complimented.

"I know, right?! My wife gave birth to such a handsome little boy," Lukas flexed.

William just laughed softly and then they went back to work.

For a few days everything remained normal until one day, while William was at work he was almost nailed to where he was standing.

Everyone was running away from their place. Even though he was inside the store, he could see and hear everyone's screams. It made William feel afraid.

"Why is everyone screaming and running away?" Manager Lukas asked when he got out of the staff room.

"I also don't know..." William replied, as his eyes were glued to the outside of the store.

A person launched an attack on another person and bit their neck. Both Lukas and William shuddered at the scene. When not one, but two people bit the other person, their eyes widened and glued. It's as if the person who bites someone has no mind at all!

A moment later, the person who got bitten suddenly had a seizure and then stood up and bit the other people. William covered his mouth when he saw the scene.

Due to the shock, William is unable to move. Until Manager Lukas grabbed his hands and they both went to the staff room.

"What the… what the hell was that?" Luke commented.

William was shocked and stared at nothingness. All he could think of in his mind was his siblings. He wanted to go out and find his siblings, but he couldn't. There's a lot of commotion outside.

"Oh my god! Why wife and my child!" Lukas cried as he straightened himself.

William clenched his fist as he tried to calm himself down.

"This isn't good. What the hell is happening right now? Who's biting who? What the hell is this? Is this some kind of movie or what?"

When Brandon laid down next to Liam, he immediately hugged him. Liam looks okay, yes, but Brandon still sees that it's not really okay. Just as he expected, when he hugged him, he felt his shoulders go up. He's crying. The room was shrouded in silence, and the air was heavy with grief. Soft moonlight filtered through the broken window, casting a pale glow on the scene inside. This is the second time Brandon has seen Liam this broken. It hurts, but he can't do anything because he knows that the only thing Liam can do right now is cry. Liam kneeled beside the lifeless body of his sister, Jasmine, his fingers trembling as he gently brushed a strand of hair from her face. Seeing his sister's face for the first time after the end of the world is really heartbreaking. What he expected was that he would be able to hug her. Who would have thought that he would see a cold corpse? Her once-vibrant eyes were closed forever, her body still and cold. He could barely recognize her through the

Brandon, who was just listening, looked at Liam. Even she couldn't believe what her boyfriend said. That's because he knows how much Liam loves his siblings. "Let me explain," Liam said immediately. "Yes, you will only be a burden. First, we know that your ability is not offensive, Jarvis. Yes, you will help me and Brandon, big time, in the travel because you know where there are many and few mindless zombies, but what if we're fighting? We don't know if we can protect you and Brandon at the same time." This time, Liam turned his gaze to Nathalie. "And yes, your ability was offensive, but it's not enough for you to fight against many mindless zombies. You still need more experience." Everyone is silent; no one talks. They all listened to what Liam said, and it was all on point. Everything Liam said made Nathalie and Jarvis unable to say anything, even though they admitted it. "Fine!" Liam just sighed as he looked at Nathalie's back as she left the dining room. He knew that he co

Two years.Who would have thought that people would be able to survive the two years that are happening in the world today? Two years without proper sleep, two years without proper food and drink, two years full of dread and fear.Even though Liam had created a cure, it still wasn't able to save everyone. When they gave them to the mindless zombies from the beginning, it didn't work. Especially mindless zombies. They did not become humans again and return to normal, but only lost their ability to use abilities. According to Brittany and Sophia, who studied it, that is because their body has become immune to the virus and their body no longer agrees to remove the virus from their body, which is why the zombie virus gives the body something to sacrifice, just like the ability that disappears in mindless creatures that are injected with the cure. Many are disappointed, but they are still thankful that there is still a chance that they will not become mindless zombies in case they are inj

A few days ago, Luis and his caravan left. Concerned for their safety, they still had to leave to carry out the mission Brandon had given them.Liam sat quietly on the edge of the bed while his boyfriend Brandon lay down."Bran?"Brandon looked at Liam for a moment. "Hmm?" You could see the worry on Liam's face, and Brandon knew what it was for. Because of that, he sat down, and he yanked Liam a little. "So, what's your worry?" Brandon asked softly as they sat down and hugged Liam from behind."Do you think Luis will be okay?"Brandon placed his chin on Liam's right shoulder. "Don't worry about them." He gave Liam a kiss on the cheek. "You know that I wouldn't give them a job like that if I knew they couldn't do it. Also, you also know that there is an ability user among them, right?"Liam held Brandon's knee, which was bent at his side. "I know that, and I have faith in your foresights. I just can't help but worry."Brandon laughed softly. "You still haven't changed, Liam." Brandon's

When the night fell, Luis got up from his bed. He has to act because otherwise, this mission cannot be called successful. The last thing they need to do is find someone to be their witness.Brandon told him that this would be the key to spreading even more rumors about the cure.Underneath the blanket of darkness, with only the moon and stars to bear witness, the three guards exchanged knowing glances as their leader approached them with a sense of purpose in his stride.Luis told them earlier, but Luis still went to them to tell them again."Alright, listen up," their boss said in a hushed tone, his voice carrying a hint of urgency and worry. Even if he doesn't want to leave his group and act alone, he can't do anything. It's easier without him. "I need to do something real quick. Keep an eye on things here while I'm gone," he explained. The guards nodded in understanding, their expressions serious as they prepared to maintain vigilance over their surroundings. Of course, they knew w

Meanwhile, on the other hand, half of the caravan members wandered inside the base. Look around and see how they can start with what Luis did to them. This is not against their will because they also know that this is the only thing they can do in return for the return to normal of the only child in their group. They stopped in front of a building. Many people are inside just based on the noise it creates from inside, and they hear it outside. This building, as far as they know, used to be a pub or club. They looked into each other's eyes before they went inside. They think this is the best place for what they do. Even if there are many people, they will only say one or two. When they entered, they entered cautiously, their senses alert for any signs of danger.Inside, they were met with a buzz of conversation and activity, the air thick with anticipation and apprehension. These people are still smiling even after experiencing a large-scale attack from mindless zombies. After all, w
