Janet POV

I pressed my lips together as I entered the car with Asphalt. He had decided that we would visit his grandfather together.

I wasn't particularly ready for the visit but I couldn't let Asphalt go alone. To him, grandpa was his everything.

His grandpa was his only surviving family member who took care of him after he lost his parents. And I wanted to gain the old man's favor. That way, I would get a better chance of achieving the set out goal.

We drove into his magnanimous estate that could be a town on its own. No matter how many times I visited here, I couldn't stop the wonder I felt whenever Asphalt drove through the field.

If I could win this old man over, I could gain myself hectares of land let only when I have a grandchild for him.

Asphalt's grandfather was the former president of l cosmetics before my husband stepped in. The wealth he made could serve four or five of his generations to come. And I was glad that he favored Asphalt more than his other children.

"Welcome
