IRIS.

"DEAR WIFE, WELCOME TO HELL!"

"NO!"

Even as the words felt like they were being shouted in my head, I let out a scream and jolted awake.

Welcome to hell?

It couldn't be! There was no way I had married that monster of an animal who regarded himself as a man.

"No," I whimpered, letting the tears flow freely, knowing that no matter how many times I wished it was not true, no matter how much I tried to live in the denial of the very words that binded us as a couple, the words were truly uttered, and there was nothing to change that. The fact that the man had even gone as far as making the way like every normal human wedding I had ever witnessed spoke volume.

I was given out to a monster by my parents already. Speaking of parents, I didn't want to think about mine. At least, not yet. Not until I figured out a way to get out of the mess they thought to drag me into when I had absolutely no clue why or when they were making it.
