Nyxion

“So we're to continue the progression from this part of the territory, up until the rivals realize their mistake and retreat. Correct?” Draven said, pitching his idea to the rest of the warrior elders in the break room. I stroked my chin and stared at him.

“There will be loopholes. Anyone smart enough to figure it out, will. And that will put us at a disadvantage,” I said. He shot me an indecipherable look before nodding politely.

Beside me, Elder Zyphar nodded in agreement. He was my father's favorite commander of the troops before his death, and he was one of the elders I personally decided to retain before my brothers decided on anyone else. I also saw him as trustworthy.

“Alpha Nyxion is right. I suggest we begin from within their territory, so they are oblivious until it is too late,” he said calmly, stroking his grey beard.

Another elder, Conan, looked unimpressed. “We've tried that before. The problem with working on enemy ground is the fact that it is nothing but en

Naeris's POV I felt my heart lurch forward. "What do you mean by they can't wake him? Would Nyxion just drop like that?" I whispered, my pulse picking up speed. Aeron had a horrified expression on his face, before it morphed into a hardened mask. He grabbed me by the arm. "Let's go."This time, I didn't argue with the horse. I just got on, and as if he could sense the urgency of the situation, he galloped quickly alongside the other horses. All through, one thought roamed in my head. What was wrong with Nyxion?"This has never happened before," Aeron muttered under his breath, staring at the dark cloud of dust that was coming from the horse's hooves. I placed my arm on his shoulder, trying in the way I could to comfort him. "We'll figure it out."When we got to the pack house, there was an ominous feeling surrounding the building. Servants were lined up outside, their heads bowed in what I thought was solemnity. I didn't like how my wolf felt. Avery was at the door, her eyes red

Naeris's POV "Aeron!" I yelled, running after him after he splashed ice water on my skirt. "It's fifteen degrees out here! It was supposed to be the target!! Not me!!"Aeron chuckled, moving swiftly and dodging my swipes before effortlessly maneuvering me into his grasp. I was breathless, huffing with exertion as his hands slipped around my waist. "I mean, I can always make you warmer," He said, his voice dropping with husk. My cheeks reddened instantly, but I didn't push him or fight back. "You're impossible.""Well, isn't that the whole point? You'll never find anyone like me," He whispered, a mischievous smirk forming on his face."I bet," I said dryly. Then he tilted my chin upwards and planted a soft kiss on my lips, leaving my legs like jelly before he let me go. He pulled me by the hand back towards the horse, and my body recoiled with dread. Did I mention what we've been up to?So, at first, the horse—which I now knew as Storm— nearly threw me off its back when I tried to

  • Claimed By The Alpha Triplets    A Rogue's Attack!

Nyxion's POV The play pen was alive with little children, running around and basking in the faint moonlight. It wasn't uncommon for them to be up this late, but I was extremely tired. This wasn't what I had in mind when Aerila dragged me out here. "Babe! Come! The kids want a painting!" Aerila called for the fiftieth time. It had been like this since we got here, different services at some times, or ten services at once. It's not that I didn't like the children, they were fun, but great goddess, it was almost 1 AM and they still looked like they had all the energy in the world. I wondered if this is how it would be like when I have kids. Babies prancing around and staying up past midnight because they had so much wolf energy to spend. A faint shudder rolled down my spine. We will think about that later. I rolled my shoulders backward to get rid of the tension and stood up, walking to where Aerila stood with the kids, smiling brightly. I didn't even understand how she still had en

  • Claimed By The Alpha Triplets    I don't care

Naeris's POV I stared at him, a million thoughts swirling in my head. "Where do you have in mind?" I wasn't from their pack, so I had zero idea what their territory was like. But they seemed a lot more sophisticated and orderly than Talon's. I just never took the time to notice more closely."You'll see. You'll take a shower, I'll get you some clothes," He said, running his fingers through my hair gently. His gaze was so soft it almost made my chest burst. He slowly lifted me off his laps, and stood as we walked back into the house. That was when I realized I didn't have a room. "Wait," I called softly. He paused. "Yeah?""Where would I shower? I don't exactly have a room," I said, laughing awkwardly. Aeron shrugged and kept walking. "My room, obviously. I'll make arrangements for you to get a room soon. I don't want you staying in the servant's quarters," He said calmly, leading me further into the house. We walked through the west wing, and he stopped in front of a large door.

  • Claimed By The Alpha Triplets    Wanna go somewhere with me?

Naeris's POV I hung the last piece of royal lady dress on the line, my arms aching with exhaustion. "I hate this," I kept muttering, but no one heard. No one would come to save me. I sat on the small stool beside the garden where I'd hung the clothes and sighed. My neck was sore from the claw marks Draven had placed, but my wolf was filled with a hunger I knew too well. Hunger for him. My mind reeled as I recalled how he had Draven pinned to the wall, shaking with rage while the asshole shuddered underneath him. It woke something up deep inside me, primal and strangely proud. My wolf wanted him so bad, and so did I. But I just couldn't. He had made it obvious I wasn't for him, and all I was doing was respect that. He just saved me back there because it was his duty. I stared at the empty basket and thought about Aerila. He even had her, too, so what use was I?"Little helion, what's wrong?" I heard a voice ring out into the yard. I jumped and turned to see Aeron watching me, his

  • Claimed By The Alpha Triplets    Don't you ever, lay a fucking hand on her again.

Nyxion's POV "Are you sure?" I asked Aerila again, watching her expression. She was fond of making silly jokes sometimes, and quite frankly, I hoped this was one of them. "I'm not. You can go see for yourself," She huffed, crossing her arms. "I'm going to get ready for the pups. We're still going aren't we?" she asked, but my mind was elsewhere. Why in the goddess's name would Draven....do that?My head was spinning, and it was getting harder and harder to focus. No. I needed to know what the hell was going on. I brushed past Aerila, marching out of the room. She yelled out something, but it didn't register. Something about priming herself for Luna or whatever. I didn't care. I walked down to the East Wing and headed straight to the kitchen. Avery stood there as always, turning some batter for bread in a bowl. She flinched when she realized my presence. "Goodness Nyx—""Where's Naeris?" I growled, my voice filled with restraint. She paused, staring at me. "She went to Aerila's ch
