CLAIRE's POV

I could not believe I actually won the game. I, the weak omega, won the biggest competition of the year.

The excitement was killing me. I wanted to run around in my wolf form with the wind in my furs, my heart pounded hard in my chest from the obvious victory and also the anger and frustration I felt from the last fight with Luis!

He was the beta? How could he lie to me? I just could not shake off the feeling of betrayal and the fact that even after challenging him to the fight, he went easy on me.

I kicked a few stones on the ground from frustration as I walked out of the arena. Just the thought of him tapping out after five minutes because he was not willing to fight like a real wolf, swept all the excitement out me. Coward!

I felt Elide growl angrily, I laughed inwardly at the aggressiveness of this supposedly weak wolf.

"I am with you on that, elide." I told her playfully when she threatened to shave Luis' head for lying to me.
