DOMINIK's POV

I looked down at Claire as she hugged herself tightly. She was wearing my shirt, mine. The thought made me thrilled and I began to grin at her.

She looked completely vulnerable only wearing a shirt and nothing underneath. Her cheeks, which were bright red complimented the bashful look in her eyes.

The more I saw the Claire, the more I felt a strange feeling sparking inside me. My wolf was enamoured with Claire, our mate, but it was quite different for me. It was impossible to imagine myself having feelings for a weak wolf.

When I told Claire how I felt about her, I did not expect her to react the way she did. Once I saw a tear drop from her eyes, I felt something brewing inside me. It was faint, but I could feel a sharp pang in my chest. What was that feeling? I decided to pay no heed to it.
