Are you seeing someone?

Madison POV 

 

It’s a new day, a bright morning. I rolled to the other side of my bed and stepped on my fluffy rug.

I really need to call Krystal to know how she is doing. I shut the door on Zach’s face and also locked her outside my house because I was so mad at Zach.Henceforth, I will stay away from Zach. My life and profession is really important to me than anything else and so is Krystal important to me. I picked up my phone to call her. I know she won’t be mad at me because of my actions yesterday. I clearly needed some time alone.I dialed her number and in less than a second, she answered her phone.

“Hey baby!” her voice came up happily

“Hope you are good, slept well huh?” she asked and I smiled

“Yes I did, thank you.”“I am not going to ask you about last night, just take your time this morning before coming to work okay?” she replied with a soft voice.I smiled and nod my head, “Thanks, I will” I replied

“I’ll be going in to scrub, I have a patient to operate on. Talk to you later okay? Please make sure you get yourself some tea” she added 

“I will, you should get going okay?” I replied

“Bye bye baby” she replied as she ends the call. I laugh lowly as I placed my phone on the night stand and walk into the bathroom to wash my face up.I didn’t expect Liam’s word to hurt me the way it did that I cried to bed, now my eyes are a bit puffy. I rolled my eyes and placed my hands under the rushing faucet to get water to pour on my face.I finished washing my face and brushing then walked out to check the time.Damn, I slept really long. It’s minutes after 10.

I shook my head and made my way out of my room to the kitchen to get myself tea to drink.

Kingsley POV

I pulled the car to a halt before Madison’s house. I need to see her and know if she had been doing well. Last night, after Kevin kissed me, I left the party. I wasn’t ready for anything like it so I couldn’t stay any much longer. He chased after me and insisted we go back to the mansion together rather than going separately and we did but our drive back to the mansion was a very quiet one.

I had nothing to say to him, he has suddenly turned gay and made me kiss him. That is not my thing…Greg wasn’t as disappointed as I thought he would be because we lost Madison and Zach’s crew. He clearly understood it would be hard to get a woman Zach is so into so he asked us to go for a hunt today. That would be later today, I need to see Madison before we go for any fight. I stepped out of my car and took off my sunglass over my eyes and made my way to the door. Madison POV

I was about making my way to the kitchen until I heard a knock on the door and groaned aloud as I made my way to the door. “What the heck, It’s too early!” I opened the door angrily “What's your problem Za-,” I paused my statement seeing it wasn’t Zach but my cousin Kingsley.

“Oh, Kingsley!” I mouthed surprised to see him.

He stared at me with a wide smile on his face, “Were you expecting someone else?” He asked

I gulped down heavily and shook my head with a fake smile, “No, not at all” I replied and welcomed him in.“Good morning Madison” He said from behind. “Good morning Kingsley, I’m about to make myself some coffee, do you want some?” I replied with a carved brow. He nods his head as I made my way to the kitchen. Kingsley POV

I watched her leave to the kitchen as I sat down on a sofa and my eyes caught a familiar bracelet around her left wrist. Where did I see that bracelet? I thought of it for a second then remembered where I saw it, “Yes, last night at the venue” I said lowly. Could it be it was Madison I saw with Liam? In less than a minute, she stepped out of the kitchen with two mugs of coffee.

I starred at her closely and noticed her earrings were exactly what I saw yesterday.

 I got up and walked to her taking her left wrist to my hand after she placed the coffee on the table before me. “Did you go out yesterday?” I said with my gaze on her wrist. “Uhhh, what do you mean?” She replied

“I think I saw this around yesterday, so did you?”

 

Madison POV

 

hIs question struck me, Could it be Kingsley went to the venue yesterday?

If he did, then that means he is a mafia? Zach’s father said the party was mainly for mafias to hang around. I went because Zach invited me. I gulp down and faked a smile at him, “No, I didn’t. what do you mean by that” I laugh lowly as I pulled my hands away from his and stepped back slowly.“What about Krystal? Were you with Krystal too?” he asked

“Kingsley, what do you mean? Why all these confusing questions? Don’t you think your questions are being awkward?” I replied and took a sip of my coffee“I am sorry, I just wanted to be sure of something.” He replied

“Well, Krystal and I are always together so no, she was with me at home last night” I replied as I turned away.“Your earrings too, they look familiar” he replied and I groaned as I turned around to look at him.

“Oh, really? Now everything on me is looking familiar, what about my face, does it look familiar to you too?” I asked him slightly pissed.“I am sorry, I don’t mean to piss you off. It’s just….it’s just” he stammered and I starred him blankly.

“What about you? Where did you go to last night that’s making you sa familiar this and that?” I ask him.He cleared his throat and looked away, “Madison, have you been seeing someone lately?” he ask, his voice soft.

“You haven’t answered my question yet, and why did you ask?”

“I know you are too busy to be busying such expensive jewelries. I can tell how much they cost, So it can only be the rich guy you are seeing that bought you those” he said.

“What?? Is this supposed to be an insult or what? How dare you????” I replied with anger. My eyes widens at him. “Don’t get me wrong Madison. Its best you tell me who you are seeing. I need you to be protected”“Well, for your information. I am grown up and I can see whosoever I want to see, I don’t need your f*cking protection okay?” I yelled 

“And about this bracelet, I can afford them and thanks for your insult” I replied and a beep sound was heard from his phone.He read the text and turned back to me, “Madison…”“Kingsley, I've heard enough of you.” I state firmly

“Madi_” 

“Get out of my house” I replied and walk to the door. “Madison? You are sending me out of your house?” he asked 

“Now, get out!” I yelled as I flung the door open.Kingsley heaved a sigh then walk to me, I looked away from him gesturing him to leave.He took one last look at me before he reluctantly left. I slammed the door immediately and fell on my knees.
