You cross her?

Zach Westley 

The look Madison had on her face really hurt me. Krystal is right; I should just go deal with the person that hurt her and that person seems to be Liam. 

 

“Liam, looks like you haven’t had enough” I groaned lowly and she steps into her car as she speedily drove away. “Great, he ruined my night too” Adrian groaned. 

 

I turn to him immediately, “What happened between Madison and Liam?” I ask him. He also looked disappointed and angry, “That bastard. He had the guts to call her a gold digger because she is with you. He had the guts to call her a spy, I tried to calm him down but he was behaving stubborn.” He replied as we walk back to the car.

“That bastard!” I groaned as I sat in the driver seat immediately.

 

Kingsley POV

I walk back to the table, Kevin was still seated where I left him. “Eating huh?” I scoffed

“You’ve got to, the meals are really good” he replied and I took a seat opposite him.

“So, how did it go?” he ask me with a side smile on his face.

“I lost her” I simply replied as I reached for a glass of champagne on the table. Kevin paused eating and widens his eyes at me.

“You did what??” he half exclaimed. I sat up and rolled my eyes.

“What? Is that supposed to be strange to you?. You heard it yourself, tonight is to be a peaceful night and moreover, it is not like I intend to lose her. She seemed to be having an argument with Liam” I reply

 

“An argument or no argument, Greg asked us to get her Kingsley!” he retorted

“Then you should have gotten her yourself!” I fired back at him

“Zach and his men were all around her and now I can’t find Zach, not eve Adrian” I replied with anger boiling up in me.

“Did they leave with her?” he ask and I shrugged

“Well, they did. Maybe Greg should get her himself because it won’t be easy to” I rolled my eyes.

 

“This is not going well at all, we could have followed them to know where they are heading but we missed them. Greg will not like this” Kevin replied.

“I am leaving already, our plan clearly didn’t work out” I said as I got up from my seat and unbuttoned my suit jacket.

“And what are we going to tell Greg?”

“Simple, we failed to get her because Zach left with her. If you want to stay here then it’s left to you” I replied then took slow steps away.

“Kingsley!” he called from behind and I stopped to turn around. He had this side smile on his face and stretched his hands out to me, “It’s a party, we can still have one or two glasses of drinks together isn’t it?” he smiled. 

 

I thought of contemplating with him but I didn’t, “Fine.” I smiled as I walked back to him and accepted the glass he stretched out to me.

Kevin’s eyes were fixed on me till I finished the drink in my hand. “Am I a TV show now?” I ask him with a smirk.

“I find you alluring you know?” he replied and I laughed lowly

“Damn, dude stop flirting with me” I replied as I shook my head. He said nothing but leaned closer to me and lifts my jaw with his two fingers. 

 

“Kevin” I croaked, my voice cracking all of a sudden. What kind of feeling is this?

I look away from his eyes to take in a deep breath but he turned me back to his face “Look at me.”

 

I looked up, his forest green eyes boring into mine. I started to lean forward, my lips brushing against his deep pink lips and then I paused to think of what I am about to do.

 

Surprisingly, he closed the gap between us, our lips pressing against each other and moving in a beautiful harmony.

 

Zach POV

 

I dint expect for Madison’s words to hurt me like they did. I had never experienced this feeling before, until today. I really made a mistake by bringing her along with me to the party. 

Is this my fault or Liam’s fault?

Madison and I were having good time until I left her at the table. I gripped the steering wheel tightly in my hands with anger boiling up in me.

Liam is gonna pay dearly for hurting her.

 

Adrian already called to tell the rest of my men to leave the party, now they should all be in the mansion waiting for the both of us. I would have left Liam in the party but my dad said he doesn’t want any fight tonight.

I made a right turn and drove into the mansion through the big gate. As soon as I got to the main entrance, I pulled the car to a halt and stepped down as I made my way in.

 

I barged in and saw Zane seated with a long face, “Dude what is the problem?” he ask immediately but I ignore his question.

“Liam!!” I yelled out immediately and everyone in the room flinched back.

 

Seconds later, Liam walked out of the kitchen with a bottle of whisky in his hands. 

“Zach, you are back. I was wondering why you called us back home” he replied as he took slow steps further and I charged towards him immediately as I grabbed him by his neck and pushed him to the wall.

 

“Brother!” Zane gasped and so did everyone in the room.

“Zach…” Liam called lowly

“How dare you be such a prick? You are really trying to get on my nerves huh?” I asked and he said nothing but struggled to breathe

“What do you mean..?” he managed to say with his eyebrow lifted and I scoff.

“What nonsense did you say to Madison?” I asked with a knitted brow.

“Zach, I was only trying to—.” I cut his statement as I threw a heavy blow at his face.

“How many times do you want me to tell you who Madison is to me?” I yelled as I grabbed his collar tightly in my hands.

“If you cross her, you cross me” I added and threw another punch at his face.
